19.01.2022 Fresh out of Camp Common Folk back in mid-October 2019 (as in 24hours after I landed home) I was feeling pretty pumped up and ready to go (take photos) for Gina & Shannon’s big day. I first met these two at my studio in Currumbin one arvo, we sat down on the couch and had a good chat just like old friends catching up for a beer after work. We realized we had a tonne of friends in common and actually get our mid-week coffee from the same place (Portside Coffee) which was real ...nice. So yeah, anyway, they got married at the beautiful property in Numinbah Valley. The thing I love about this place is that’s its probably the best Gold Coast DIY wedding venue. There’s this beautiful lake, the stunning old Queenslander farmhouse, heaps of space for guests to stay overnight (camping) and a sweet spot for an outdoor reception party at the bottom of the hill These two and their awesome guests (+awesome dog) got their ceremony finished pronto, hung out and had some qt with their guests over cheese and lawn games, then cracked some champagne and got the party started early! Thanks heaps to the legends over at Hello May Magazine for splashing this all over their Real Weddings blog this week :)
