18.01.2022 Day dreaming - Hey hey! It’s been a minute! I hope you all had a great Christmas break and enjoyed some much needed time off I didn’t anticipate taking as much time off as I did over the break, but the longer I spent away from social media, the more of a chance I had to really consider my purpose and my why in terms of my creativity. One thing that last year gave me above all else was distance. Distance away from urgency for urgencies sake, and a chance to really consid...er my actions, so it seemed a little half baked to dive head first into a new year without actually considering the why behind everything that I do. Prior to lockdown bringing most of my life to a halt last year I felt like I was juggling plates. Doing way too many things, each of which had no real connection to the others, leaving me feeling like a bit of a mediocre jack of all trades. So to now be coming out of 2020, I want to be focused, on just a few things, each of which compliment eachother in a way that leads to my ultimate goals. So cheers to 2021 So that’s where I’ve been, and what I’ve been up to. 13.01.2022 A moment in time - When I was a little kid, history absolutely fascinated me. One of the things that amazed me the most was the fact that a lot of the worlds deserts were one vast oceans! I thought of the idea for this image off the back of that concept, and it was a fun challenge trying to piece it together. Really interested in doing alot more surreal and out there artworks this year. Worrying less about sticking to a content schedule, and focusing more on creating thin...gs that feel fresh and challenging The idea came to me whilst scribbling ideas into a sketchbook the other day. I’ve come to realize more and more that my ideas don’t come to me whilst I’m toiling away in Lightroom or photoshop.
