25.01.2022 Have you watched My Octopus Teacher on Netflix? This beautiful doco is about a film makers reconnection to nature through his relationship with an octopus. He free dives with her throughout her whole life (approx one year). . These creatures are Amazing and the pocket of ocean she lived in was a true underwater forest, I feel we know so little about. .... The cinematography is outstanding you really feel like you are in the ocean and this story reminded me so much of why I wanted to start Tomorrows Earth. Yes, partly I've always wanted to run my own business and connect with my local community. But ultimately it is my drive to make a difference (which I believe most people have). To leave this world better than when we entered. To help preserve nature and help reverse the negative impacts we have made on this planet. . This doco is definitely worth a watch. The ocean holds such a special place in my heart and I want to do better. But we need people who are passionate about all parts and species of our world as nothing is more important than anything else. We all deserve to Thrive! 22.01.2022 Vinegar spary is cheap & so effective on glass, mirrors, & general surfaces but I am not the biggest fan of the smell! So here is a great DIY project that makes your vinegar spray smell so much nicer! Simply grab a jar pop any citrus skins you like lime/lemon/orange/grapefruit into the jar. Add a couple of sprigs of rosemary and top up the jar with white vinegar. Pop the lid back on and leave on the shelf for 2-3 weeks. Then simply discard the skins & rosemary in your com...post and dilute 50/50 infused vinegar with boilded and cooled water in a spray bottle and away you go. 100% natural, toxin free surface spray! Reduce your Xmas wrapping footprint by trying Furoshiki! What???... Furoshiki is a Japanese tradition of using cloth to wrap clothes and other items - usually in a super decorative way - do yourself a favour and google it you will be amazed at the creativity! I think this is an amazing alternative to the traditional Xmas wrap that goes into landfills by the kilometer each year. Cut up an old sheet, use a sarong, or buy a large tea towel to use as part of the gift. Another super fun alternative to buying Xmas decorations each year is to get crafty. Gather pine cones, dehydrate fruit (especially citrus), use cinnamon sticks and good old fashioned popcorn to make a garland. It is a fun weekend project that I believe brings back the magic of Christmas and spending time at home with your loved ones. Organic Shea Butter - cold pressed naturally rich in Vitamin A, E & F, anti inflammatory so great for dry, aging skin or dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema prone skin types.
