18.01.2022 Tomorrow's Stars Basketball is closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and all the decisions we make are guided by the advice of authorities including the W...orld Health Organisation and Australia's Chief Medical Officer. At this stage we are not making any changes to our basketball programs, however we will be implementing suggested measures to ensure we keep everyone safe and healthy. Inline with the latest recommendations from the Federal government only gatherings of more than 500 people have been recommended to be suspended. STAYING HEALTHY: Coronavirus is a respiratory illness caused by a virus. Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. The majority of people recover easily and only experience very mild symptoms. There is evidence that it spreads from person to person however good hygiene can prevent infection. AT OUR BASKETBALL PROGRAMS ALL PLAYERS & COACHING STAFF WILL ENSURE: * Regularly washing of hands. This is the best protection against transmission. * Hand sanitiser will be available for use at all venues. * Players will be reminded to cough or sneeze into their elbows, not hands. PLAYERS FEELING UNWELL: As per advice from health authorities, if any player has flu-like symptoms, you should seek your doctors advice and not attend any of our basketball programs. If any player attends any of our basketball programs and appears or reports being unwell, they will not be able to participate in the program and will be required to leave the venue. One of the many things we love about our sporting community is its power to unite us - in times like this we can be assured sport will continue to bring us all together and these measures will ensure that this is in the safest manner possible.
