25.01.2022 Today I received my OAM for service to the baking industry and Beechworth at Goverment house from her Excellency, the Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria. Wow, I tell you what: it's humbling enough to know you have been awarded an OAM, but it's a whole different thing all together to actually be presented with it... So glad my family was able to be there and share that with me!!!

20.01.2022 Wow! I'm still speechless (and that says a lot ). Thank you to Prime7 News Border and 9 News Border North East for the great reports, and I even made the front page of The Border Mail. It's certainly wonderful to be recognised for your efforts like this, but I tell you what, without my team, without the people around me, there’s not much of me at all. To quote the late Steve Jobs: "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people", and I've never been more acutely aware of that than right now...

As we're speaking, the talented guys at MRL Media are putting together a movie length documentary that showcases our trials & tribulations during that eventful journey. 06.01.2022 You may (or may not) have seen media reports that my mate Keith and I were going on another madcap fundraising trip in the old 1930 A Model Ford next month... Well, that trip has now been cancelled but we would still like to encourage you to donate to the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute. Like everyone else they also had to cancel all their current fundraisers but unlike others they operate 100% on donations and fundraisers. No government funding means they have total autonomy on how to direct their vital research work but it also means in unprecedented times like this, all ongoing funding is now uncertain.
