22.01.2022 NAIDOC 2020 This week means and represents so much, and it’s also a week that gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this country’s incredibly talented artists. Tonight in person AND online Colours of our Country launches its 2020 exhibition, an event exhibiting the Pilbara! Take a moment, hop online (if you’re not in Perth) and take in the amazing submissions for this year! You may even get to see Tom Price’s resident MLR Aboriginal Art’s piece ‘Pilbara Wildflowers’... SHAPE OF LAND Proud Noongar and Saibai Islander man, Tyrown Waigana is the winner of the prestigious National NAIDOC poster competition for 2020. His artwork, ‘Shape of Land’, illustrates this year’s NAIDOC Week theme, ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’ as it shows the Rainbow Serpent coming out of the Dreamtime to create this country. 02.01.2022 Tom Price, your COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELL-BEING TEAM is pretty spectacular, they were the creators of ALL the events last week for Women’s Health Week and weren’t they all a bit of fun! . The Arts Hub hosted a Paint and Sip that was provided and paid for by the CHWB team, and it was such a fun and inspiring night for all, charcoal life drawing with a real life model posing for us! . I for one am so grateful to these amazing women and I’m sure the town stands by me when I say... a BIG THANK YOU!!! Cheers ladies already looking forward to next years!

I have a room here I would love to turn into a Halloween event for kids to come trick or treating at in the last week but I NEED YOUR HELP!
