25.01.2022 Don't forget last day to borrow books for this year is tomorrow at Tom Price Public Library, we reopen 4th January 2021 Check out this review from Good Reads on Jane Harper's 'Force of Nature' book NEW to our library. 'Five women reluctantly pick up their backpacks and start walking along a muddy track. Only four come out on the other side.... The hike through the rugged Giralang Ranges is meant to take the office colleagues out of their air-conditioned comfort zone and encourage teamwork and resilience. At least, that's what the corporate retreat website advertises. Federal Police investigator Aaron Falk has a keen interest in the whereabouts of the missing hiker, Alice Russell. Because Alice knew secrets, about the company she worked for and the people she worked with' https://www.goodreads.com/bo/show/34275222-force-of-nature

20.01.2022 New in the library is Jane Harper's newest release, The Survivors. I (Kathryn) read it in less than 24 hours! I've been a big fan of Harper's novels since The Dry and I think this is the best one yet. I highly recommend any of her books and you'll likely have to put a reserve on this one because it's going to be popular. Goodreads summary: Kieran Elliott's life changed forever on the day a reckless mistake led to devastating consequences. The guilt that still haunts him resur...faces during a visit with his young family to the small coastal community he once called home. Kieran's parents are struggling in a town where fortunes are forged by the sea. Between them all is his absent brother, Finn. When a body is discovered on the beach, long-held secrets threaten to emerge. A sunken wreck, a missing girl, and questions that have never washed away...

15.01.2022 *** New to the Library *** Say no more by Karen Rose Seventeen years ago. That was the last time Mercy Callahan saw Ephraim Burton, the leader of the twisted Eden cult where she was raised. But even though she escaped the abuse and terror, they continue to haunt her. When her brother Gideon discovers new evidence of the cult's--and their victims'--whereabouts, Mercy goes to Sacramento to reconnect with him. There, she meets Gideon's closest friend--homicide detective Rafe Sokolov. From Rafe, she receives an offer she never knew she needed: to track down Ephraim and make him pay for everything. But Ephraim, who had thought Mercy long dead, discovers she is in fact alive and that she is digging around for the cult's secrets. And now he'll do anything to take her back to Eden--dead or alive.
