15.01.2022 Add value to one person’s life per day. There's something that lights me up when I'm able to help small businesses shine. I’m like a dung beetle to a moth to light! Contributing to other people, adding value to their lives it genuinely gets me in the feels. The absolute bonus it also results in others believing in you, liking you and trusting you.... Social media platforms are relationship builders. And adding value in an authentic, genuine, helpful and unassuming way kicks off the relationship in the very best way. By shifting your focus to providing content that addresses your customers’ needs, you can start helping and stop selling. [Funnily enough, the selling will do itself when you're actively and authentically helping]. So how do you add value to your community via social media? 1 Understand their pain points. What do they struggle with, what drives them nuts? Make a list of your ideal clients' biggest challenges in relation to your industry. 2 You guessed it, baby, solve them! Write content and captions that solve these problems. This is your time to shine, flex those muscles and show your community your skills and expertise in debunking their problems. 3 Engage. Don’t go all ghost on them You’ve taken the time to write killer content, your community is soaking it up and commenting that stuff is liquid gold! So reply, engage connect! Soon enough you’ll become a valued source of advice, inspiration, and knowledge and this will build incredible trust and interest in your business organically. Know. Like Trust. And that my friend is the start of a beautiful social relationship [that shall ultimately lead to sales].

It’s only a few months old, and we’ve been able to kick goals in an uncertain market with a brand new product and a super young social following ... Through some *serious* strategy busting, we’ve nailed taking this fresh new company on a rollercoaster ride of exponential growth. Facebook ads still remain the single most powerful tool to convert an engaged social audience into customers. But that’s the key.. an engaged social audience. These guys nailing it. Don’t be overly keen to skip past fostering a killer organic plan and community engagement. You’ll reap the rewards when it’s time to convert to Facebook ads. 06.01.2022 People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel - Maya Angelou Ain’t that the truth?! When people ask what I do, I usually respond with I’m in digital marketing. Queue the eyes glazing over! People rarely remember or understand what you do, but they will always remember how you made them feel.... I recently attended a workshop [BI before iso], and as we did the dreaded around-the-room introductions, I got a spike of creativity. [Which is unusual for me, as I find myself a more self-conscious and timid version of myself in these situations] I write on social media about brands. I tell stories about brands, and I make people fall in love with brands As we continued around the room I do what she does! [f*ck yes extrovert Toni!] Nobody knew exactly what I did, but it didn’t matter. Because in that moment, I made them feel something. And they took notice. By the end of the day, every one in the room knew EXACTLY what I did. because one by one, each of those women approached me and introduced themselves and genuinely wanted to hear my story. Boom I felt like I cracked a little bit of the code that day! The secret to standing out [for the right reasons this time! ]. So I’m challenging you to give your introduction an overhaul. I’m a [insert job title]. Officially, my job is to [insert your clear-cut job description, e.g. manage the build of homes / write proposals / coordinate an annual conference]. But really? I [insert your emotional job description, e.g. create beautiful spaces for families to make memories / plan the party of the year, where we get to kick up our heels and go wild!]. - I’m a Social Media and Digital Marketer. Officially, my job is to I look for ways to get people to interact and consume content on social media to turn them into paying customers. But really? I tell stories to make people fall in love with brands - And tell everybody! Because there is SO much opportunity right before our eyes, in our own little network... if we just have the ability to tell our story. Now it’s your turn. Please, introduce yo-self!
