20.01.2022 There is just nothing like watching a storm roll in. The air is so tight and hot, and you just want it to break. The sky lights up well before you hear the rumble of the thunder. The clouds outlines and their layers are mesmerising, then boom, here she is in all her glory.... Lights flashing and thunder cracking, its so cool. But I have to confess, I am so scared of being hit by a bolt and I am frozen to the chair on the patio. I have the camera set up in front of me, with a lightening tracker on. The first bolt is captured, then the second, now the third. I am in awe, I just start laughing. Laughing so loud, the men and white suits may come along and take me away. The camera happily takes image after image, as I calm the laughter down and go inside as the wind hits and cools it down. I have my nose pressed against the lounge room window, I can still see the light show and jump and squeal. I can see the huge rain drops now and go out and grab my camera gear. As I turn to open the door, whooshka, rain and wind push me through the opening door. I love taking a moment in time, and knowing what that moment means to me, and I can share that moment hoping you will have a connection too. I couldn't pick one! It is so pretty walking to the #gliderpad and along the path to the beach.
