16.01.2022 On behalf of Geoff, Pete, Barry and Dave and all the extended Tinning family we are sad to advise all our Tongala Bowls' friends of the passing of our much loved wife, Mum and Nan, Marie this morning at Koraleigh. We will all miss her very much. Funeral details will be in Friday's Riv Herald. Marie loved being part of Tongala Bowls Club, as this pic taken after the 2009/10 Grand Final win with some of her Bowls family shows!

14.01.2022 CLUB COMPETITIONS Could all players please note that entries for the remaining Club Competitions including Men's and Women's Pairs, Mixed Pairs, B Grade Singles, 100up and Novice singles will close on Sunday, 29th November. The draws for these Competitions will then be posted on the Notice Board at the Club the following week. ...

13.01.2022 INFORMATION FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS: The Campaspe Valley Bowls Division no longer exists. Instead Tongala Bowls Club will fall under the new Region of Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields. If you are interested in becoming a part of ... Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Region please contact either Steven Usher or Di Tinning. The Annual General Meeting of the Region will be held Sunday 11th July at 1pm at the Bendigo Bowls Club. A special meeting will be held prior to this meeting at 11am to adopt the new Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Region Constitution. Nomination forms for Board Positions have been sent to Club. The new Board will consist of 9 Directors, 3 from each playing area (Bendigo, Campaspe and Goldfields). The President and Secretary are voted on by all Clubs of the Region and Directors voted on by their playing area Clubs. All positions are for terms of 2 years with elections on even and odd years. Nominations close on 20th June with Region Secretary. Committee Expressions of Interest forms have also been sent to Clubs and required by 9th July. These committees will be appointed by the new Board. Committees- Pennant/Competitions, Selection, Junior, Coaching, Greens, Umpiring and Sponsorship/ Marketing/ Media. If you would like to nominate for a position please let us know and we can provide the forms to you.

12.01.2022 REMINDER! If you are playing the A Grade Championships please be sure to get your matches played before the dates allotted!! If you are unable to do so for any reason please give your opponent the forfeit so that we can complete the competition on time!! THURSDAY NIGHT is Pennant Practice Night, but can also be a great opportunity to get your Championship Game played!!!

07.01.2022 The Committee and Members of the Tongala Bowls Club wish to pass on their sincere condolences to the Brasher family after the passing of Barb. Barb was a long time member of TBC and she will be sadly missed.

06.01.2022 Any bowlers who are interested in proposed plans for the 2020/21 season are invited to go to the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division website where this information and details of their recent Meeting are available in a Power Point presentation. Feel free to look for yourselves. Of course there will be no set dates for the commencement of the season until the Covid19 restrictions are eased and things made clearer to all sporting bodies.

05.01.2022 The Members and Committee of Tongala Bowls Club have been saddened to hear of the passing of our valued team mate and Club Member "Uncle Mick" Young. We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to his family at this time. He will be sadly missed by all at the Club.
