23.01.2022 Some progressive photos of some Banksia flowers just finished for a park in Marrickville. This one should be around for a while, it was the hardest stone I have used for a long time.

20.01.2022 I sent Darcy up to Sydney to get some slabs for benches just before Christmas and he came home with some really nice diamond sawn stone, which is the bench you see in the photo. Nearly sold out but we will be back up there for more soon. The birdbath is made from a piece of quarry end slab, which is the first cut they make before they saw the stone into slabs.

19.01.2022 I don't get to build stone walls as often as I used to so it was great to build this little mailbox for Mt Keira public school this weekend. Thought I would get in and do it on a weekend while there wasn't a hundred little rug rats bugging me. If anyone is interested in some stone walls I'm happy to come around and have a look at what you have in mind.

18.01.2022 A Syrian guy I know in Sydney commissioned me to do this for him. I'm no historian but apparently this is a representation of the Syrian King. I quite like it, might have to look around for a bit more ancient stuff for inspiration.

18.01.2022 Usually when I deliver something I rarely get to see that piece again. Last week I had to deliver something to a lady near Chatswood that bought a few pieces about 15 years ago. Love seeing these pieces age, the older they get the more character they have.

17.01.2022 Many years ago now I trained as a cabinet maker, then moved onto other things. My youngest son Oscar has dug all my old woodworking gear out of the shed and started making some stuff. Recycled hardwood coffee tables, and some nice little boxes. He is using proper cabinet making techniques as well, no cheapo stapled together stuff that falls apart. 15.01.2022 I have quite a bit of stuff at the moment, as I'm preparing for a weekend makers market at Canberra convention centre. Good time to buy if you were thinking of getting something, hopefully wont have much left after the long weekend

13.01.2022 Start of the stone pond. An elongated pond down the center of the Nursery is now in the making, the pond will be surrounded by stone carved benches as well as an assortment of creatures watching over the pond. Will post pics as the pond progresses....... feel free to come to the Nursery and stare at it with me.......

12.01.2022 So I didn't quite finish him but not much to do in the morning. I spent three hours working on the church in Jamberoo, which unfortunately is slowly decaying away, so allowing for that I didn't do too bad.

09.01.2022 At the canberra exhibition centre (epic) today (26th) and tomorrow. Some really nice stuff and lots of it.

08.01.2022 Various photos of Bundanoon quarry.Green roof shed is where they saw the stone. One saw blade in there can cost $70,000. A few various shots showing the face where they cut the blocks out of. The big long block is one of several they cut out to send to the new casino at Barangaroo. Apparently they are standing them on end as a bit of a feature as you walk in. You get one on a semi trailer. Always an interesting place to visit.
