The youngest and littlest in their team Rodney Pita is known with his 7s talent since representing QLD youth 7s in the past. He is also Tongan heritage however loving his passion for Rugby Union is part of the infamous Brisbane Fiji Sevens Team. The likely stars like current Wallaby and Reds SAMU KEREVI joins the team. Little does many know last night in Sydney, in the Royal Ranwick Racecourse function room the Australian Rugby Union Awards took place. ... The rise of Taniela 'Tongan Thor' Tupou into a national and international rugby union circles is of dreams. Daniel in his English name is from the Biblical name of the actual Daniel of the Hebrew origin. Yes, the Daniel that survived in the pit of Lions and none of those Lions did devour Taniela. 19th of October 2018 will go down in Tongan Australian history as the first Tongan born to earn two Rugby Union Awards nationally and internationally accliamed. Daniel Tupou received the VODAFONE Super Rugby Player of the year 2018 & Australia Rookie of the Year 2018. Two distinguished awards in just his rookie year 2018 is things of mere immortals. We would like to thank Taniela Tupou for his strong faith in pursuing his dream despite all the Lions around him in the den.
