25.01.2022 Here’s a great local business, The Bike Stable WA. Drop in and see Liam and the crew. I do believe no teddy dogs were harmed in the making of their post.

24.01.2022 My absolute heartfelt congratulations to Mr David Hughes and deep gratitude for your service and commitment to your community. 45 years of voluntary service is amazing. And your recognition is well deserved.

23.01.2022 Do you need to Restart, Reconnect, Rebuild or need Resillience? These grants are to help our community do this. Essential criteria for the grants is to demonstrate benefit to the community. So if you are a community group or a local business, consider this the Shire’s way to assist you during the recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.

21.01.2022 Met up with Chris the local butcher at Chidlow Quality Affordable Meats today. Such lovely quality and cuts of meat and a great guy to chat with. Support your local business. Did you know you can also get his produce at Stoneville fresh supermarket in a weekly order? #shoplocal #supportlocalbusiness. Mundaring Chamber Of Commerce

21.01.2022 I love local business and when they work together for the community. I joined the gym. The Lambda Academy has been working my muscles for the last couple of weeks and helping with nutrition and protein is a required recovery mechanism. I go to one of my fave places Cafe Mojo Mundaring and they sell Fast Fit Group Fitness post workout drinks. Seriously living in the hills is great and in the fitness front a bad day in the gym is better than no day just sayin

20.01.2022 Hi everyone..I encourage you to nominate someone for the Shire’s citizenship awards. We’ve been through a tough year with COVID and I know many of our community have gone above and beyond to help others, keep their community involved or just be their usua awesome selves. This is one way to thank someone and tell them you appreciate them.

18.01.2022 Well done Shire of Mundaring for an informative clip on planting natives. Lovely to see Sue still involved in our environmental work after many years involved with the Tree Canopy Program.

16.01.2022 Hi local businesses. Are you interested in these two workshops? If so please let the Mundaring Chamber Of Commerce know which one you’d like first. Or tell them a topic. It’s a great resource as a local business owner.

13.01.2022 Under the Shire’s Covid relief fund the Mundaring Chamber Of Commerce is putting together another voucher book for local business. You can get on board through this link https://mundaring.org.au/shop-local-voucher-book/ Hurry though as this is only available for the next two weeks.

10.01.2022 Last week I was away down south assisting in a week long cycling event at Tour of WA. What’s this got to do with the Shire you ask? Well I packed this trailer 6 consecutive days and moved over three tonne of luggage which would not be possible without having been to The Lambda Academy a local business run by the awesome Kat Rumbold. At lambda it’s about getting your body fit and healthy as well as your mind. Please take the time to check out the specials that Lambda offer. There’s seniors, juniors, working people, stay at home people, lift heavy things people that attend. Check it out. I highly recommend it.

09.01.2022 Supporting local business is really important to me. Even more so those who have done it tough through Covid restrictions. After my big week away lifting heavy things I needed a massage. Robyn who is located in Chidlow does a great job and always gets those pesky sore muscles rejuvenated. Support local. Shop local at Robyn’s Skin Essentials. Make an appointment today. She’ll even fit you in after work

05.01.2022 Council has been working hard to help our local community. If you are a business or community group or organisation in the community and you have been impacted by Covid please come along to listen how the shire grants can assist you. Thank you Mundaring Chamber Of Commerce and Mundaring Community Bank Branch for your assistance with this.

02.01.2022 The value of our community should never be underestimated. Congratulations to the award recipients and thank you for your continuing years of service.
