16.01.2022 Some new things are cooking....artist palette and jar sets will be coming in a couple of weeks time

16.01.2022 Lately I've been sitting staring at my journal kinda stuck on what I want to do. I'd start a sketch and think "she looks like what I've done before...". Bored. So I've gone back to my first love, collage. This years journal has a bit of gelli print collage stuck on each page to give me a jumping off point.

08.01.2022 My first journal page of the year. I'm using Oracle cards as my inspiration and relating them to my own "Self". This one is "the rainbow", my rainbow is not coloured, but the environment around me is..... I do the drawing while sitting on my meditation cushion, the add the colours afterwards.

08.01.2022 My journal for today. Oracle card 59 Upper World. I love the upper world and don't journey there often enough, I've been exploring the heavier lower world for too long. This for me signals time to change focus and go up. Collage, graphite, gouache, winsor and newton watercolour markers, and posca pens.

07.01.2022 Some days it's the little things that make me smile. The back and front of a bowl that came out of the kiln today. I think I may actually like the back (shine) more than the front. Even though the glaze ran all over the embellishment, it adds to the charm. It's a nice big bowl too.
