14.01.2022 How will you reach your next level of performance? Will you focus on leveraging your strengths, overcoming stretches, or working even harder to try and be good at everything? If you spend your life trying to be good at everything, you will never be great at anything. Research shows that building on strengths to build performance is lot more effective than focusing on improving stretches. When we know and use our strengths, our performance, engagement, wellbeing, and results..., flourish. Check out my latest blog article on why a strengths based team could be your winning people strategy for 2021.

13.01.2022 Is your leadership voice working for you or against you? Your leadership voice is a key facet of your leadership. It's heard in many ways beyond what you say, it’s mirrored through the strengths of your leadership style, your communication toolkit, how you walk your talk, your energy and how you present yourself. See where you fit on the Leadership Voice ladder in this article.... Is it time for you to speak up, stand out, and be heard, seen and recognised?

12.01.2022 Influencing people who don't agree with you can be frustrating. Is your natural tendency is to either avoid a conversation with that person or to try to convince them of your perspective (which they interpret as wanting to be right about what you’re saying). Conversations won’t always go your way, but learning how to have tricky conversations so you both feel heard, validated, and respected is an important leadership skill. Who knows, you might even up with an outcome that might be even better than the one you came up with. Please check out my new post that offers a 4-Step framework for mastering difficult conversations at work

11.01.2022 We’re working in increasingly complex and uncertain environments. Adaptive problems, short term thinking and the need for control often makes the bigger picture hard to see. It’s easy to lose sight of what we care about the most: our people and the people we serve. At the heart of change is people; people who genuinely want to do the right thing, where the right thing is centered in the greater good.... Care is the organisational currency that matters the most When an organisation's culture is built on truly caring for people, the environment enables people to bring their best, do their best for others, and contribute to a purposeful and meaningful bigger story than the tasks and achievements in their roles. 08.01.2022 We spend about a third of our lives at work. Check out my latest article that highlights 4 keys to carve a path for you to stay true in leading a fulfilling life on your terms.

06.01.2022 For the most part, leadership is learned. You can’t change your personality (who you are) but you can flex from your preferred leadership style (how you show up for others). We all have a range of behaviours that align with our thinking preferences and comfort zones in relationships. For example, how we respond in front of our bosses boss will be different to someone from our team. Our leadership growth comes down to how prepared we are to shift our range of behaviours depen...ding on the situation we’re in. What leadershifts are you going to make in 2021? How do you want to be seen? Small tweaks can make a big difference. Changing one or two parts of your leadership (changing behaviours I mean) is enough to change perceptions about you. Check out my new article to help guide your thinking on the leader you want to become in 202.
