24.01.2022 On Wednesday morning we were sad to say farewell to one of our wonderful educators Von who is moving out of the area. Von has been an educator with us for 7 ye...ars and during that time has opened her home and heart to many lucky Tatura families. She has also been a mentor for new educators and a wonderful member of our team. Thanks to Toni at Toni's Tots who hosted us all on what was a beautiful morning play with some lovely home made morning tea and all the children playing so well together. 23.01.2022 The children Toni's Tots Family Day Care have been busy printing their own lily pads and decorating their own frogs . This interest came about from playing out...side and hearing croaking sounds which lead to discussions between the children and Toni. They also had attended a ZOOM Playgroup Session where they were involved in singing songs about frogs . I wonder where this will lead to next? #GSFDC

17.01.2022 Quite a few of the children at Toni's Tots had been to Melbourne to see Frozen on Ice, so Toni created this wonderful frozen winter wonderland on her deck area ...for the children to follow on with their role play in this area! Toni and the children have even experimented with creating stalactites!!! Way to go Toni! #GSFDC See more
17.01.2022 Toni's Tots Family Day Care have been busy visiting the Olive Farm and picking Olives over the last 2 weeks. They even got to see the chooks! #GSFDC

05.01.2022 The children and I made these wonderful grass heads, they were all so excited to see the seeds sprout into grass and then to poke out of the stocking. Throughout the month the children were very eager to water them every day, and to check how much they had grown.

05.01.2022 Last week the children and I were busy taking care of our new little Guinea pigs, they are both females, so I asked for help in naming them.. Well I had some wonderful suggestions, "Candy pop" "Dino" "Buffy" and "Maxi" oh and of course the one I had forgotten all about was "Ana and Elsa" which is perfect for them. Because one is white and the other is a red caramel colour....

02.01.2022 Check out this bunch of awesome educators!! 7 of our wonderful educators were nominated by their families for the Family Day Care Australia Educator of the year...!! Pictured are Karen from Kanga Kids Family Day Care, Subha from Kialla Green Family Day Care, Adele from Messy Little Munchkins Family Day Care, Toni from Toni's Tots and Camille from Camille's Family Day Care!!!! We also had Stacey from Tiny Smiles Family Day Care and Sally from Back 2 Basics Family Day Care nominated as well! What a huge achievement! The ladies are all now in the running to win Regional Educator of the year which will be announced in 2 weeks time. If successful they would then be in the running to win State Educator and then National Educator of the year! Could you imagine that!!!! We were also very proud as a service to have been nominated for the 5th year in a row for Service of the Year. Good luck to everyone involved and well done on making such a wonderful contribution to children and families in the Goulburn Valley. #GSFDC See more
