20.01.2022 End of Year Payroll Finalisation All employers currently reporting payroll information via Single Touch Payroll (STP) are required to complete an end of financial year finalisation declaration. You MUST do this after your last pay run for the financial year. For the 2019-20 financial year:... employers with 20 or more employees will have until 14 July 2020 employers with 19 or fewer employees will have until 31 July 2020. 13.01.2022 Workcover WA have confirmed that the jobkeeper top-up payments to employees WILL NOT be included in reported payroll figures for workers compensation insurance premium purposes. Only wages paid for work done are to be reported, so please make sure you are able to separately record wages and job keeper top-up payments through your payroll system.
