25.01.2022 And people wonder why I love this town

25.01.2022 A timely reminder too, please treat employees with respect.

24.01.2022 This is disgusting. "Home checks on people with the virus on Thursday found one in four were not home despite being under orders to self-quarantine." I have been critical of Dan Andrews and the stuffed up quarantine system (seriously who sets up a system without medico's on site), and I certainly hate the fact his government changed laws to make it easier to dump toxic soil on our doorstep (done while we try to cope with 2020). But you cannot blame him, or his government, for... this. These are Victorians. They are letting us all down. Businesses are failing, suicide and self harm is up, kids are going through a year that is testing their resilience (and rising to the challenge). The least we can all do, is rise to the challenge as well. Stay safe, stay at home, cover your face. If you hate doing those things, exercise your voice at the next election. 23.01.2022 Today is RUOK day, probably critical in todays world. The message of today I think is on point too, "2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. " And if you are struggling, please seek assistance by contacting your trusted healthcare professional or calling Lifeline on 13 11 14. ... https://www.ruok.org.au/make-staying-connected-a-new-daily-

21.01.2022 We need more schools, and we need them before our current schools are bursting to overflow. Our kids deserve a fair go.

20.01.2022 Stage four restrictions will be in place across metropolitan Melbourne from 8pm tonight. We know there’s a bit of confusion around what workers are considered e...ssential or permitted and more information will come on this topic from the Premier tomorrow. Meanwhile, here’s a handy tool to determine what is within 5km of your home: https://2kmfromhome.com/. Hang tight Wyndham, this isn’t easy but it’s essential to stop the spread of COVID-19. We’re all in this together! See more

14.01.2022 Seeing the Karens getting coverage for not wearing masks due to "constitutional reasons" has made me furious today. There are those in the community with legit reasons to not wear a mask (breathing issues, autism sensory, other medical), but with people walking around challenging the laws for some political point, it has compromised vulnerable peoples ability to get about. Selfish actions hurting the vulnerable yet again. A mate posted this on his wall. For those arguing the...Continue reading

14.01.2022 The state government changed regulations dealing with toxic soil dumping, all done while we deal with the Covid19 crisis. This potentially puts our food, our schools, the Werribee River, the Open range zoo, all at risk. Fiskville academy, 95 kilometres west of Melbourne, linked to a CFA cancer cluster, was contaminated with PFAS.
