25.01.2022 Its a pity the local Labor member isnt helping out this wonderful organisation. Lets hope Fremantle finally gets a local member who actually cares enough to help.

25.01.2022 Shoppers need greater choice and convenience over the busy Christmas period.

25.01.2022 WAtoday.com.au uncovers the real story behind WAs hard border. When the Liberals called for WAs borders to close back in March, the Labor Party including th...e Premier rubbished the idea. In fighting against closing WAs borders, Labors most Senior Minister stated "Well, theres a little thing called the constitution" and "we cant turn around and say one Australian cannot meet and visit another Australian" Read the full article https://www.watoday.com.au//a-little-thing-called-the-cons

24.01.2022 It was an honour to officially open the Perth Home Builders Expo this morning. Cullum from Builderz WA has put on an outstanding event at the Perth Town Hall.

24.01.2022 It was an honour to be part of the launch of WA footy this year and to raise the 2019 Premiership Flag.

23.01.2022 On any given night in Western Australia, there are approximately 9,000 people experiencing homelessness, 1,000 of which are sleeping rough. Next week is Homelessness week. This is an important opportunity to shine a spotlight on this significant issue. Shelter WA is hosting a series of events to discuss what we can to do end homelessness once and for all. Be sure to get involved:

23.01.2022 I was more than happy to meet Sally and Lawrence when asked to be a taste tester for their new startup business TenderLovinKraut based in Carine. I am happy to report that their products are delicious and are highly recommended.

22.01.2022 Unfortunately this tragedy is unfolding throughout Western Australia. If only Premier McGowan would get his priorities right this could all be avoided. 22.01.2022 People have asked me where I stand on the challenge to our borders. Let me make it absolutely clear, the Liberals WA support strong borders that protect Western Australians against the current health threats.

21.01.2022 Its getting harder than ever to pay all the household bills.

21.01.2022 Today is Remembrance Day. On the 11th hour on the 11th day on the 11th month, we observe one minute’s silence in memory of all Australians who have died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts. I encourage you to remember those who have served our Nation by attending and buy a red poppy this Remembrance Day.... We will remember them. Lest we forget.

21.01.2022 Dont get COVID fatigued or complacent. Be sure to follow these healthy hygiene habits.

21.01.2022 Labors plan to spend $2.7 million on spin doctors is just wrong. Thats enough to employ 18 more police officers, 18 more nurses, or provide $10,000 grants to ...270 struggling small businesses owned by mums and dads. The last thing we need is more State-sponsored propaganda and spin while WA families are doing it tough! Read more https://www.waliberal.org.au//premier-spinning-out-of-con/

21.01.2022 Fremantle Tent City is the latest addition to Perth’s homelessness crisis. First there was Rockingham and then came East Perth. I was there yesterday to see the suffering first hand. I met a number of people including a former small business owner who had fallen on hard times and was just looking for some support to get back on track. Unfortunately this trend will continue to grow because the McGowan Government refuses to take this issue seriously.... It will be impossible for Minister McGurk to ignore it this time because it’s now in her own electorate. Shelter WA Anglicare WA

20.01.2022 Well deserved and thanks for also keeping me on as a Patron. Im so proud of the way the club is run.

19.01.2022 Please share this post so that the message is heard loud and clear by the government.

19.01.2022 If you feel like something isnt quite right with someone you know be sure to take the time to ask Are you OK? You dont need to be an expert to reach out - just a good friend and a great listener. Use these four steps and have a conversation that could change, or even save, a life:... 1. Ask R U OK? 2. Listen 3. Encourage action 4. Check in Visit ruok.org.au for resources you can use every day

18.01.2022 Congratulations on the amazing job you all do. What an amazing group of volunteers. I was shocked to see the appalling conditions both the City of Perth and the State Government expect you to work in. Lets hope that the community gets behind you and demands urgent action.

18.01.2022 I recently caught up with North Beach Fish & Chips business owner Boston about the difficulties of running a small business. This month we announced our commitment to improve the payment of invoices for small business. Only a Liberal Government will have a Local Jobs, WA Business Guarantee. The fish and chips were delicious and a must for all in the electorate to try.

16.01.2022 It was an honour to attend this important community event. Well done to everyone involved in making it such a special day.

16.01.2022 We need to urgently invest in our health system before it’s too late.

15.01.2022 Its important for a State Government to lead by example and this is only the beginning if we get elected on the 13th of March 2021.

14.01.2022 With so many stresses in these difficult times organisations like Lifeline are critical to our community. That is why a Liberal Government if elected will increase Lifelines funding to $1 million a year.

14.01.2022 Wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2021. It’s been a difficult twelve months which has made us all reflect on what’s most important in our lives. Stay safe with whatever your celebrations involve.

13.01.2022 The Developmental Disability Council of Western Australia is offering sponsorship payments up to $1,000 to support organisations and groups to hold inclusive community events or activities on or around International Day of People with Disability on 3 December 2020. 13.01.2022 How great it was to see the Karrinyup Waters Resort flourishing once again. Today the carpark was showing signs of filling up. What a beautiful resort and a fabulous location for a staycation. I enjoyed a coffee with Jason at their cafe where they always serve delicious meals. Im really looking forward to my next visit.

13.01.2022 Did you manage to catch this story on ABC radio? It is heartbreaking that the McGowan Labor Government has allowed this sheltered area to be fenced off, knowing that it was occupied by rough sleepers. Most of these people are already on the priority waitlist for Public Housing, but until a significant investment is made towards more social housing, people will continue to wait years to be housed. The current situation places rough sleepers in greater danger. With as many as 50 people sleeping in tents, many spreading onto the cycle path it is only a matter of time until someone is injured.

12.01.2022 A great club with a strong community connection.

12.01.2022 The news that rents are expected to jump 20 per cent early next year when the rental moratorium ends (News, 2/11) has likely sent a shock wave of terror through thousands of West Australian renters just as it has for the organisations that provide support to those at risk of losing their home and becoming homeless If this prediction becomes a reality, as a community, we must brace for an all mighty wave of homelessness. And in turn we will need a plan in place to deal with the fallout. A very timely reminder from Shelter WA - we need the Government to step up with a real plan to address housing and homelessness in our state.

11.01.2022 We need the Labor McGowan State Government to take this issue seriously and fund the Community Services Sector properly. #shelter #salvationarmy #anglicare #stbarts #wacoss #stpatricks #unitingcare #stvincentdepaul #vinnies

10.01.2022 Fantastic Sorrento Bowling and Croquet Club season open day and Awards presentations event today. Wishing everyone a successful season ahead. Sorrento Bowling Club

10.01.2022 Labor promised to fix this in 2017. Instead it has just continued to get worse.

09.01.2022 It was a great event. Well done to everyone involved.

09.01.2022 It was great to attend the Launch of Homelessness Week this morning and catch up with Lisa Kazalac, John Borger and Gordon Cole from Shelter WA.

08.01.2022 The preventable death of a vibrant and spirited 11-year-old, who took her own life because without a safe place to call home, the world around her was so perilous and confronting.

08.01.2022 Our local small and family run businesses are hurting badly and need our support. The Government needs to release its economic plan for recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Please show your support and sign the petition: https://www.petition.org.au/support-wa-business/.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Shelter WA on an amazing 40 years of outstanding work. I’d be happy to update the relevant Ministers and Premier on how the event has gone. Shelter WA WACOSS

08.01.2022 Our small and family businesses need assistance now! The $500 credit announced today just isn’t enough for small and family businesses who have carried the financial burden of the lockdown because of the failure of the quarantine system, and not all small businesses may be able to access it. Other states have rolled out assistance packages of up to $10,000, sometimes more than once.... We all know the Federal Government stepped in and did the heavy lifting with JobKeeper and JobSeeker. Our small and family businesses deserve this same support from the WA State Government.

07.01.2022 It was great to catch up with Albert Jacob, the Mayor of the City of Joondalup, and discuss local issues.

07.01.2022 Congratulations Zak Kirkup and Libby Mettam! I look forward to a new chapter for the Liberals WA and am confident that Zak and Libby will lead us forward with an enthusiastic campaign. Thank you to Liza Harvey - you served the party as an excellent leader with dignity and grace during an exceptionally tough period of time.

06.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy Diwali.

06.01.2022 Local communities feel unsafe. My team is committed to supporting our police force and putting more police on our streets to protect West Australians.

06.01.2022 Are you looking for a great, ongoing fundraising opportunity for your community group or charity? The City of Stirling has set up a program which allows community groups to become a donation point for the Containers for Change container collection scheme. Part proceeds of donations are then returned to the community group!... If you want to take part, contact the City via email to get involved! [email protected]

05.01.2022 Whether you ride to work, ride for sport or fitness or ride with the kids as a fun family activity, cycling is one of the most popular activities in our local area. That’s why Zak Kirkup and the Liberals will deliver a comprehensive $81.3 million plan supporting the growth of cycling across WA for the daily commute, recreation, tourism and fitness. Our plan will also help keep Western Australians safe on our shared paths and trails by: Teaching every primary school student... important safety skills Widening shared paths that are used by pedestrians and cyclists Connecting major gaps along our freeways and train lines so cyclists can ride safely Investing in off-road trails, particularly in our regions, for local tourism and WA mountain bikers Learn more https://www.waliberal.org.au/.../80-million-plan-to.../ See more

05.01.2022 Only the Liberals can guarantee cheaper power bills.

05.01.2022 Great news for Carine Senior High! The Liberals support the $32 million for a major upgrade to provide classrooms and facilities for up to 600 students. We are committed to progress this project if elected.... We will also make sure construction jobs are delivered by local tradies to help tackle Western Australias record level of unemployment. This is great news for local parents, teachers, students and tradies.

05.01.2022 Babies born prematurely and their families need every bit of help that we can give them. A Liberal Government will commit $60 million for a new Maternal and Child Health Research Fund.

04.01.2022 More should be done to help those who are suffering at this time.

04.01.2022 I cant believe our farmers are struggling to get enough workers to pick crops. Unfortunately the cost of food will be going up when we can least afford it.

04.01.2022 Let’s all be vigilant and stay COVID safe. Make sure to do the COVID 3 and be careful where you place items like your mobile phone to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

03.01.2022 Labor's surplus continues to grow and grow on the back of the resource industry and the Liberals' GST fix yet they have no plan for ...

02.01.2022 4111 hours. 4111 hours ambulances were gridlocked at our hospitals in January 2021 alone. 4111 hours patients were waiting outside our emergency departments needing critical care. 4111 hours our life saving paramedics were off the road. 4111 hours lives were put at risk.... Our hospital system could not handle a COVID outbreak. Labor are stockpiling a $3.1 billion budget surplus, not fixing our broken health system. The Liberals have a comprehensive plan to tackle ambulance gridlock and fix our emergency departments. See more

01.01.2022 The Register of Unclaimed money has recently been updated to make it easier to claim lost or forgotten money Be sure to search the register and see if you have some long lost funds waiting for you: https://unclaimedmonies.treasury.wa.gov.au/

01.01.2022 We all deserve to be safe, especially in our own homes.

01.01.2022 Western Australia has one of the highest unemployment levels in the country. Our team is focused on creating local jobs for local companies. We want to get more West Australians back to work.

01.01.2022 I am proud to put my name behind Everybodys Home campaign to #BuildSocialHousing With 14,000 applications and over 23,000 people on the social housing waitlist, it is clear we are in desperate need for more public housing in Western Australia. Even before COVID, it was estimated that an additional 39,200 properties were needed. Under the McGowan government, we have seen a decline in public housing by over 1,300 properties. Desperate action is needed now.
