One has Peppercorn Tree Heartwood handles with lime green G10 liners and the other has Zebrano with black G10 liners. Carbon Fibre pins.... Both sit at 58RC. Both are up for grabs PM for details.

09.01.2022 Tony’s Bladesmithing did a Bowie Course at Tharwa Valley Forge So I just spent the last 2 days with my best mate doing the Bowie Course under the watchful and ...extremely helpful eye of Jackson Rumble (JS and all round nice guy). So the first day consisted of forging the blade to shape using 10mm, 5160 bar stock to shape for the hidden tang knife, then rough grinding, then heat treatment and then a mock up of the handle whilst waiting for the knives to come out of temper. Day 2 consisted of final grinding and hand sanding, then guard machining and handle fit up. Then shaping and handle finishing, then sharpening and polishing and final clean up. Lots is packed into this course and it is not a beginners course but if you have a chance it is a fantastic course. Please get in touch with Karim Hadaad from Tharwa Valley Forge for more details if your interested in improving you Knifemaking game.

07.01.2022 New stabilised handle scales arrived from Shane Dohnt today. All Myrtle

05.01.2022 They say you should learn at least one new thing per day. Today I learnt that my wrist is not ready for hand sanding 3 blades, give me Brufen NOW.

04.01.2022 A little bit of light reading. Cheers Corin Urquhart and Gameco for doing a Bulk Buy.

04.01.2022 Finally finished this last Serbian style cleaver. Made from 12c27 Stainless Steel, has Myrtle Burl handle scales and 416SS pins. All wrapped up in a tan kydex slip sheath. The timber on this one is beautiful thanks to Shane Dohnt.

03.01.2022 Little bits. The wrist is starting to feel a bit normal. Probably won’t later. Post HT grinds done and handle materials chosen. Will give the wrist a rest before having to hand sand all of these.

03.01.2022 Guaranteed Hardness Thanks Corin Urquhart, Cole and Tim from Gameco.

02.01.2022 Some hand forged fire tools I made for my mates birthday
