23.01.2022 We had the most delicious morning tea with the children today! Thank you to our wonderful neighbours for coming to share it with us. Our children always enjoy your company :) Thank you to all the community members and businesses that donated towards the progressive raffle and to Coral for organising everything! Great job to the schoolies that helped Coral sell tickets and to the toddlers who helped draw the winners. Drum roll please.. Congratulations to our raffle winners: ...Tanya glass mobile, Dave x 2 candles and crystal art, Kayla homemade zucchini pickles, Spencer crystal art, Hannah cheese cake, Shelley homemade jam, Makenzie woolen vest, Gracie homemade jam, Amanda - chocolates and Cheryl giant chocolate cake. Your prizes are in the office ready for collection. The raffle raised $185! With the donations doubled and our raffle collection, the total has come to an astounding $248.60. We feel very proud of our efforts and hope to make it an annual tradition. See more

21.01.2022 Today we acknowledged Sorry Day by planting a native hibiscus with the children. According to the Kimberley Stolen Generations Aboriginal Corporation, the native hibiscus was adopted because it is found widely across Australia and it is a survivor. Its colour denotes compassion and spiritual healing. We are going to take great care if it and are looking forward to seeing it grow and bloom.

11.01.2022 Thank you to all of our beautiful families for coming along to our Christmas Party last night. We loved seeing all of the children enjoying themselves and sharing their portfolios with their families. We feel very spoilt and loved with the praise and gifts we received. A massive thank you to our team of helpers! Sean from Christmas 360 for our lights and suit, the local firies for giving Santa a lift, Tegan, Chris and Tommy on the bbq, Junior football club for the bbq, shire for the chairs, all of our amazing staff and Harper, and our awesome Santa! We feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community! Merry Christmas everyone!

10.01.2022 We would like to thank everyone that came along to our Protective Behaviours workshop last Thursday night. We all learnt valuable strategies to teach our children. Some of the key points discussed include: -We all have the right to feel safe -Work on extending children's 'feelings' vocabulary... -Early warning signs -We can talk with someone about anything, no matter what it is -Children's own Safety network (5 fingers on hand) and persisting in asking for help -Body awareness and ownership. Learning the difference between public and private. The importance of labeling body parts by their correct name such as penis and vagina (No nick names) -Personal space and the difference between safe/unsafe touch -Assertiveness (NO, GO, TELL) An extra special thanks to Margy and James from Parenting Connection for delivering such a sensitive and important subject in an interesting, informative and fun manner. We look forward to our next workshops with you, 123 Magic in November.

You are welcome to come even if your child is not booked in, but you will need to supervise them yourself. $$ Donations can be made online or on the day. $$... 03.01.2022 We are supporting the Toodyay CRC in their community initiative to provide welcoming safe places for children to participate in trick or treating. We will be answering the door from 6pm until 8pm if you would like dress your little ones up and join the fun!
