19.01.2022 After our Covid lock-down it was wonderful to be able to have a game again. We had a morning and afternoon session so that we conformed with the restrictions and all went well. We are going to play Thursday's ans Sunday's numbers permitting so keep in touch. See you on the green in the near future
17.01.2022 Sunday 26-07-2020. Unfortunately because of the inclement weather we have had to call our Memorial day off. It has been decided as it is such an important day we will hold it next Sunday instead of cancelling altogether. Hope you are all able to come then.
17.01.2022 Another good rollup for a rollup on Thursday. Committee meeting on Sunday 7-06-2020 with a 9am start. Don't forget to put your name in for Sunday arvo rollup starting at 12.30pm See you on the green kids.
17.01.2022 Green has been mowed and we'll roll it this morning ready for a rollup if you feel inclined. Have a fun day all
16.01.2022 This coming Sunday 4th October we have Brian Lovelands cancer charity day. All welcome on the day we just need numbers for catering. 2 games 13 ends lunch after game 1 and afternoon tea at the completion. Lots of prizes and raffles. $15 dollars per player. It is always a great day so come if you can. Leave a message at the club 5423 1165 or give me a call 0412 482 771. Obviously we need to conform with all the covid requirements but it will still be a great day. See you on the green.
15.01.2022 No bowls today. bit too wet for bowls and couldn't find anyone interested in water polo so we called it off. See you all Thursday hopefully.
15.01.2022 Hi all. The green has been cut and rolled today in preparation for rollups tomorrow. We'll roll it again in the morning so all will be fine. Don't forget two only per rink and social distancing must still apply. Hope everyone is keeping well. See u on the green.
15.01.2022 We had about seven intrepid people on the green today for a rollup and all enjoyed the exercise. Helps us all to get out and have a chat and limber up the limbs. Take care all. Stay safe. See you on the green next time.
14.01.2022 Birthday party for Madison and a great time had by all. Good competition to win the barefoot bowls with strong challenges from all involved. A great bunch of people who were there for a good time. It was a pleasure to host your event.
14.01.2022 Hi again all. We are back to normal(as close as we get anyway) so there are no restrictions on numbers on the green. Sunday the 26-07-2020 is our Memorial day and all are welcome. It is bring a plate day and Nev and Ian are sponsoring the day. We had our first mini pub day last Tuesday and it was a great day. Everyone was chaffing at the bit for some competition and everyone went home happy. That's about it for the moment so we'll see you on the green.
13.01.2022 Thank you to the wonderful people of Toogoolawah Bowling Club for welcoming us in and hosting us for 3 nights as we played social and Pub Day. We appreciate your hospitality and if we are in the area again we will be sure to call in for a game. Thank you, Pam & Jim
12.01.2022 April 20th was another great day for our annual Lifeflight Charity Bowls day. With a full green of 64 willing participants and wonderful weather everyone had a great day. Our auction of the Ramblers tandem parachute jump had some willing bidders, the competition on the green was fierce, the food was great and the best dressed was well deserved.
12.01.2022 Another great Pub Day this one sponsored by the Club Hotel Toogoolawah. A few of the participants of the day
10.01.2022 Hi all, we are looking for some more teams for our Lifeflight charity day on the 20th of April. All the info on the flyer. It is a fundraising charity day with the emphasis on having a fun time. The game is open so mixed, all boys or all girls.
03.01.2022 Went to the club today for a couple of little jobs and found a mat, lifter and a set of bowls and no one about. Being worried that something untoward may have happened on the Sunday rollup I hastily made some calls but to no avail. Nothing unusual occurred and everyone went home happy. Obviously someone went home short a few things. As I can't remember Ian's name I can't tell who it was but as soon as I can I'll let you all know. Not Ian obviously as he now knows as I told him I put everything in the club for safe keeping.
