22.01.2022 Last night our committee held a meeting and had to make the difficult decision to POSTPONE our March Campdraft. Unfortunately the on going dry conditions in the region has meant it is increasing difficult to source cattle. We are hoping to run our draft in September on the 5th-8th but this also depends on weather conditions and if we receive much needed rain in the coming months. We apologise to our competitors and look forward to holding our Draft in September.

18.01.2022 Hi fellow Campdrafters. We would like to apologise for the lack of information available for our draft we intend on holding in September. Unfortunately we have been holding off hoping the weather would improve but this hasn’t been the case for our region. Majority of our cattle donors are feeling the effects of the ongoing drought therefore cattle are limited. We are holding a meeting this Wednesday night to decide what options we have. We truly do not want to cancel as it has been over two years since we have held a draft (2018 - too wet and March 2019 - too dry). We will try our hardest to work out what cattle availability is around and will inform you all by the end of this week. We thank you for your patience and understanding. As we all know without cattle donors we can not run a draft.

17.01.2022 A huge Thank you to Ashvale Station for donating their cattle for our team penning event. They were an excellent line of cattle in such difficult drought conditions.

15.01.2022 The decision has been made not to go ahead with our Campdraft in September due to the dry conditions and lack of cattle available. We will be holding a team penning event on the 7th and 8th of September and will release a program next week.

12.01.2022 A huge thank you to Don from H.L.E Smith and Co. transport for carting our cattle this weekend.

09.01.2022 Just wanting to reaffirm that team penning will still be running as intended. We had some issues with cattle due to the conditions but have sourced more. We are so incredibly thankful to our cattle donors and those who would of liked to donated (but conditions have prevented) for their generous donation in such trying drought conditions. Please keep sending noms in and making payments

08.01.2022 Here is the draw for Saturday’s team penning event. We are kicking off around 8am, stopping for lunch after the first round, then the juniors and finals. Don’t forget to make sure you have signed and handed in your waivers and horse health declarations before competing.
