22.01.2022 ADDITIONAL PUPIL-FREE DAYS Teachers and schools are working hard to prepare for the possibility that we will need to move at some stage to more flexible learning arrangements, including remote learning. The Minister for Education approved an additional two pupil-free days. The first will be on the last day of this term Friday and the second will be on the first day of Term 2 after the coming school holidays. This will provide an important opportunity for schools to consolidate their preparations.

15.01.2022 Our school has been working on the possible transition to remote learning. Just as a precaution, on Thursday all students will receive a learning package containing: A letter outlining expectations whilst participating in remote learning An electronic device uploaded with the necessary applications for online learning A copy of all passwords required Hard copies of learning activities... Pens, pencils and paper if your survey response indicated they were required. Reading material I am aware some families have elected to keep their children home next week. Those families will be able to collect the packages after lunch on Thursday. See more

04.01.2022 Dear Families, We are currently awaiting official confirmation about school operations for Term 2. The most recent advice from the Department of Education, issued on the 27th March indicated that the move to flexible and remote learning for Term 2 was a likelihood. The Take Home Learning Packs, sent home last Term, were intended for the first three weeks of remote learning for Term 2. Our staff are currently working on the next stage of our Remote Learning Plan, and will iss...ue families with guidance about this plan, as soon as possible. Once again, I thank our school community for your patience and understanding as we work through the COVID-19 situation, and assure you that we will update you all as soon as we know more about operations for Term 2. I have a webinar schedule for Wednesday morning, so hopefully I will have more information for you then. I hope that all members of the school community are keeping well and enjoying the time connecting with those closest to you.Happy Easter. Regards Heather Kennedy See more
03.01.2022 Grade 3/4 students will depart for camp tomorrow. Students are to put their packed bag at the bus shelter when they arrive at school and keep their packed lunch and a named water bottle with them in a small backpack. If your child requires any medications while on camp please hand these to Miss McCoy in the morning. They need to be clearly labelled in a snap lock bag with instructions. Students will meet in their classrooms before departing at 9:30am.
03.01.2022 New learning packs for Grades 3-6 are located in Mr Tarrant’s, Miss McCoy’s and all Grade 5/6 in Miss Maskell’s classrooms. They are available for pick up until 3:30 today. The F/1/2 families can return student iPads, notebooks and chargers as well as learning tub/book box to classrooms today also. It would be appreciated to have the stationery plastic box at school ASAP. All students also require their own headphones. Thank you, Toolamba PS Staff

01.01.2022 We are so excited to welcome all students back to onsite learning on Monday 5th October! In preparation for this, we ask that all families gather up all school books, devices and especially chargers, ready for return to school on Monday. We have had many chargers go missing and they are irreplaceable, unfortunately. They play an important role in our device management as well as use in the classroom. We appreciate your support with this. Enjoy the rest of the holidays and we look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces on Monday
