21.01.2022 Presentation day for Toora cricket club will be held on the 18/3/18 at the cricket rooms about 12.00pm for a lunchtime feed them presentations afterwards and a few celebration drinks afterwards.. All Life members and players will get an invitation and all the public are welcome to enjoy the day..

17.01.2022 Big thank you to everyone who came to the annual Toora Cricket Club Xmas party last night. Great night had by all with plenty of gifts handed out to the well deserved players!! A massive thank you to the girls who ran the event and got everything organised while we we’re playing cricket at Devon Kathryn and Mandy what a fantastic job with the roast and all the trimmings and some lovely desserts supplied by all.. Don’t forget our Duck Race at the Franklin River Reserve 03/02/13 tickets on sale soon we also have the 20/20 final at Toora this year with proceeds going to Craig Tanner and family, We are having a legends game prior to the gig game so if anyone over 50 is keen to have a fun hit out contact me pleaseMerry Xmas and a safe new year Go Magpies

07.01.2022 Well done to all the people that helped out over the season with our local Royal Standard Hotel raffle every Friday night.. Tonight was our last raffle at the pub till next season and we have donated our raffle money to the Royal Standard Hotels Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal. Thanks to all that raffled tonight we have raised an extra $260 towards the Appeal with the pub raising good money aswell.. Thanks again critters

06.01.2022 Massive day at the Toora Cricket Club today, we hosted the Alberton Cricket Association 20/20 Grand Final between Binginwarri and Tarraville.. We also took the opportunity to do a charity day for a Local player and great bloke Craig Tanner and his Family with entry fee awesome raffle and the best food going around thanks girls Kathryn Mandy and Tracey We Started the day of the old boys having a 10 over each hit around before the big show.. great effort for all those old blo...kes to get out and have a hit out for charity Rhyce Ireland, Neil Stone, Danny Jenkins, Craig Tanner, Charlie Young, Dion Hendrixx, Ricky Platt, Gav Watt, Ray East, Allen Van Kyke, John Collins and Kevin and also all our boys at Toora Cricket Club who helped field and umpire aswell. All our team at Toora for helping in the kitchen, Front Gate selling raffle tickets, Bar and a massive thank you for Crash Stone for having the ground in tip top condition and supplying fish for the day..To al the Sponsors on the day couldn’t of done it with out yas.. First prize in Raffle -Sarah Cole. Second prize - Don Borgia Third prize . Val Young We raised about $600 for Craig and family and hopefully we can make it an annual thing By the way really good game of 20/20 game of cricket in the final with Tarraville who batted first just got over the line Thanks to everyone involved who got behind a special cause.. 04.01.2022 Hello All With cricket creeping up very fast I was wondering if you could spread this far and wide with any medium you can think of even football club facebook pages , and if you think it needs to be worded better by all means adjust to suit . Junior Cricket The Alberton cricket association are once again looking to run a Junior competition and would like to start to gauge interest from intending players for the upcoming season . Once we can collate some numbers we will be ...able to determine the format for this season so I would like to encourage you as soon as possible to register your interest with Sally Davis the Junior coordinator on 0427 514 270 . 04.01.2022 Duck Race 2018 great day to run ducks down the Franklin River with a big crowd in hand and a lot of campers enjoying the day.. Winners where 1st A. McPherson 2nd M. Young and 3rd S Chapman Well Done , race took 27 mins this year and we also did 5 sprint races.. Thanks to all the guys that helped set up and pack up and cooking a fantastic lunch for the hungry hord of people and manning the bar supplied...Well done Toora Cricket Club for putting on another Fabulous day for all
