12.01.2022 UPDATE FOR TOORADIN ESTATE AGISTEES! Hello everyone, We hope you are keeping safe and well in these difficult times. Given the stage 4 restrictions, we thought it best to touch base with our Agistees. Our knowledge of the rules is limited, and we’re waiting for Equestrian Victoria to provide the information regarding animal welfare. This is regarding feeding/caring for the horses. Riding is still allowed for our agistees at this time until we are updated. ... When we find out more, there will be a much larger post encompassing all aspects regarding the Estate. Know that we are doing our best to care for you and your horses, and will try to provide as much information as possible. Keep safe and be well, The Tooradin Estate Team See more

11.01.2022 Important Message !! Hello everyone, due to the current global situation, we felt that an update was needed. Currently, our cross country course remains open for schooling, however this is only for those who have not been unwell, have not been close to someone unwell, or have not travelled internationally recently. Please ensure you do not come in groups to maximise safety. Take precautions such as hand sanitising before touching widely used objects (pens, books, gates etc).... This also applies to our agistees. Only come on to the property if you have not been unwell, have not been close to someone unwell, or have not travelled internationally recently or been around anyone that has. Please also Take precautions such as hand sanitising before touching widely used objects (pens, books, gates etc). If your horse requires feeding ect Please contact Sally or Maddie, both of whom are happy to assist in this difficult time. We all need to do our part to minimise stress and show others compassion and care, and putting others at risk is something none of us would like to do. The team at Tooradin Estate are doing their best to keep everything running normally, but if people do not follow the rules then this may change. Thanks, Tooradin Estate team.

09.01.2022 Tooradin Estate Agistee update - Stage 4 Hello everyone, hope you are all well. We have now seen the update by Equestrian Victoria regarding horse welfare during the stage 4 lockdown. We are still awaiting formal government advice regarding travel and car for horses under the restrictions. In the event you are stopped on your way to Tooradin, please advise the relevant authority that Tooradin Estate Agistment Centre has developed an emergency welfare roster. As an agistee, ...you meet the positive obligation under section 9 of the prevention of cruelty to animals act 1986 requiring you to ensure your horse is adequately fed, watered, exercised, and sheltered. We have provided the link Equestrian Victoria has advised all owners to print and have in the car to present to the authorities if asked. We will provide an update once formal advice has been provided, and will strive to continue keeping you informed. https://www.vic.equestrian.org.au//Holding_Statement_S3_S4 Thank you, and stay safe! 05.01.2022 COVID-19 changes for Agistees Dear Tooradin estate agistees, At this trying time we have to update you on protocol that will now be enforced at the Estate. ... Please make sure when coming to see your horse, that you have not been sick or around anyone that has been. If you have traveled overseas recently or been around anyone that has traveled recently we do ask you to please stay away from the Estate. When you are coming to visit your horse please make sure you do not have any extra people with you that are not necessary. Please make sure when tacking up your horses that your gear is kept to yourself and not shared, and ensure appropriate distances between horses when tying up. Attempt to maintain a 6ft distance with others, and ensure you are being sanitary and not touching everything. We would prefer that you rode on your own and not in groups. Once finished riding, please disinfect all gear before putting it away. The same goes for feed buckets, halters, and other essential gear. Please make sure to keep a safe distance away from other agistees at this time. This time is difficult for everyone but not adhering to the rules may puts others at risk. You may not feel sick or think you may be fine, but please think of others in this trying time as you may act as a carrier to more vulnerable individuals. Maddiee and Sally are more than welcome to assist if you are self isolating at home and your horses need any extra care. If you have any other questions about this new protocol, please contact Sally on 0450 961 038

01.01.2022 **Missing from Nyora VIC** The past few days have been some of the worst of my life. To some people that may seem dramatic just because we lost some dogs, but B...onnie and Clyde meant so much to Amber and I. They loved us with all they were and we loved them. We spent every second with our dogs and did everything together. It feels like we have lost our children and we are feeling totally devastated, like our whole world has been shattered. If anyone sees anything, or even if you are holding our babies and want to keep them please just let us know they are okay. Alternately if they have had an accident and won't be coming home we would like the opportunity to bury them, at home with us. $2000 reward for any information about Bonnie and Clyde. We will always love you.
