24.01.2022 Petal the possum has been with us at the clinic for just over a week now after being found alone and with an attack wound. She is doing amazingly well after a lot of TLC from the team. If you are a wildlife carer and would be interested in caring for this little beauty please reach out to us. In the meantime we will enjoy having her as the newest member of the team.

02.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS: The team at Toorak Rd Vet Clinic would like to reassure our clients that Veterinary Services are essential, and we will continue to remain OPEN with a COVID health plan in place. ... In order to keep everyone safe and ensure we can continue providing care for you and your pets, we ask that all individuals comply with our protocols below: ATTENDING THE CLINIC: If you have a sore throat, are feeling unwell, have been in contact with a COVID(+) person or are in isolation, PLEASE NOTIFY OUR STAFF PRIOR to your booking or attendance to our clinic via phone. We will make appropriate arrangements where necessary. Face coverings must be worn when entering the clinic. The face covering must cover your nose and mouth. We will not be allowing any individual into the clinic without a face covering on. Temperature checks are mandatory upon entry. Multiple hand sanitisers are available at the clinic. We ask that you please use upon entry. CONSULTATIONS: ONE PERSON per household can attend the consultation. Our current set up allows the owner to view the Vet, nurse and your pet from a separate room. The phone is on loudspeaker so we can communicate throughout the consultation. If you would prefer to stay in the car during the consultation, please let us know at time of booking and we can collect your pet from the car and phone you during the examination. We ask in this circumstance that you park in our car park located at the rear of the building or on Peate Ave. A mask must be worn when a member of our staff comes to collect your pet. We are also offering phone consultations for clients who are unable to travel. OTHER INFORMATION: Please keep your consultation/procedure reminder text message on your phone when traveling to the clinic, in case you need to show police if you get stopped. Please phone ahead to order any food or medications for your pet. Payment over the phone is appreciated to make pick-up more efficient. NO CASH payments are being taken during this time. Grooming is still proceeding. We will notify clients that have made bookings if this changes. We are still operating in TWO separate teams; so if you would like to see a specific Vet, please ask at time of booking. Thank you again for your ongoing patience and support during these unprecedented times.
