20.01.2022 It’s amazing what some love and paint can do for a table. This little table had been consigned to a dark dusty corner, with scratches and a dark staining job. We’ve breathed some new life into it with some studious sanding and some fresh new paint. I can just imagine this taking pride of place with a vase or flowers, and some photo frames. You can pick this lovely little table up from Dirty Janes Bowral.

19.01.2022 Is there such a thing as too many baskets? Absolutely not, and I find these tiered baskets incredibly handy! Knick-knacks, snacks, cakes, fruit, crafting supplies can all be cosily stored within it. This poor thing had been previously used in a kitchen for a *long* time according to the amount of grease we found on it. Under the grease, there was a stained coating of originally white paint. You would think an item like this would be easy to quickly restore, but many hours of scrubbing out all the tiny crevices disagrees with that concept. To bring it back to beautiful condition, the stained white coat had to go and has been replaced with rust protective chalked paint. She is absolutely lovely, and is waiting for you in Dirty Janes Bowral.

19.01.2022 Some new Bits and Bobs into our store today. Three very cute original retro camping stools. A pair of Royal Doulton "Felicity" salt and pepper and a pair of oil or vinegar bottles, also a very nice little 1970s stool. Happy New year to everyone, see you in 2020

08.01.2022 This is a lovely set of nested tables that we have recently breathed new life into. The leather can be a bit tricky to work with, but a good lick of Annie Sloan paint and conditioner has fixed that right up. The decals have been screaming to be used, and are protected under the glass inserts. The three of them are at Dirty Janes Bowral, just waiting for a new home to love them.

06.01.2022 I have just started my Instagram page, learning slowly with lots of mistakes but at least I'm up and going. When I opened Instagram it chose Cherylann504 and I kinda liked it so now in the process of trying to change this page name. I recently went for a drive to pick up some really early vintage furniture, two bench seats and one trestle table. The Blue bench seat in the photo has lots of history and I believe its probably handmade, underneath the legs have been made to fold under like a trestle, iron rods and large brackets make the bench a bit heavy but made to last forever I think. Currently in my store number 405 in Dirty Janes Bowral.

03.01.2022 Good morning everyone, happy New 2020, we hope all our friends and family are okay this morning. It was a difficult night knowing our loved ones are surrounded by fire. Everyone is safe and ready to leave if they need to. Moss Vale and surrounds are covered in smoke but the very scary yellow glow has settled a little with the cooler change. Love to all of you,,
