Glorious sunshine and good winds helped make it a competitive and fun day all around. 19.01.2022 We had a great crew training day with Jane Moran today. Jane Moran is one of my regular Deckhand/Hostesses who has recently passed her Coxswains NC Grade 1 qualification. She demonstrated leaving and returning to our berth, coming along side a number of different wharfs, MOB techniques and solid knowledge of our vessels safety equipment location and use. I am happy to say she ticked all of the boxes for our succession plan as per our SMS. Well done Jane.

14.01.2022 It is always pleasing to receive a great review. Trudy & Nick joined us on board just before the East Coast Low hit our shores last week. We had a beautiful daytime charter and hung around for a spectacular sunset.

13.01.2022 Covid-19 has and continues to be tough for lots of Australians. It has been hard for families, businesses and life in general and we are all facing up to a different way of life in the future. Like many small businesses it has been a struggle to remain positive and keep a smile on our face but we are beginning to witness the smallest signs of recovery.... The Management and Crew of Too Up Sailing want to reassure our past and future customers that we have done our upmost to prepare our vessel and crew for the future. We have introduced a Covid-19 safety Plan which includes regular deep cleaning of the vessel before any charter, wiping down all touch surfaces whenever clients are on board and additional food hygiene and handling training for our crew. To safeguard our clients we have ensured we can provide the recommended physical distancing space and additional hand sanitizer is available at each hand washing station as well as public health notices. These additional safety and hygiene procedures do not hinder the delivery of our service in fact we strongly believe that they enhance our product. Too Up is available to offer luxury charters for up to 20 guests and we welcome your inspection of our vessel Birkenhead Point Marina. 08.01.2022 @theboatsurveyor paid a visit today to carry out our annual periodic survey. We are happy to say that with a couple of additional safety equipment items we passed with flying colours, one additional Solas approved life ring required one additional 150 Newton life jacket required We have also fitted the additional brackets on the escape hatch windows as per the manufactures recommendations Tomorrow the Skipper and one of our crew are attending our First Aid and CPR refresher courses. They were finally able to celebrate a birthday 7 months later than planned, Weather stayed dry and we found a mooring in Rose Bay out of the wind.
