21.01.2022 Cancer Council Longest Day - Monday 14th December. An enormous thanks to the few teams who played on the day, A little bit of light rain throughout the day couldn’t deter any of our fantastic members. The womens team were fantastically organised with outfits and a great team name "Complete and Putter Madness' and raised staggeringly, nearly half of the total on their own.... A few members volunteered as helpers and pit crew and certainly helped to make the day even more enjoyable. Thanks Toowoomba Toyota, NRG Services and Vision Health Group, also to all the businesses and individuals who donated. The final number for fund raising as at this morning was $26,144. This is an absolutely extraordinary achievement and places us 8th in the nation in fundraising for the Longest Day. I couldn’t be any more proud of all the people involved. This is part of the Cancer Council Longest Day and as a Club we are hoping to raise m...ore than $20,000 for this great cause. A great day was had by all and the winners of the 2 person Ambrose was Damian McDonald and Kurt Haensch. Runners up were Paul Cooper and Arun Pratap and 3rd prize went to Alan George and Brett Loch. Nearest the pin went to Bob McGavin on the 7th, Wayne Lindenberg on the 14th, and Paul Cooper on the 18th. Longest Drive on the 1st - Men was won by Mike Usher, Women - Carmel Macdermott and the Non golfer best drive was won by Alex Hede. Thank you to everyone who participated in the day.

02.01.2022 Our Women celebrated the end of the year with the Annual Dress Up Day. This year's theme was Country and Western and all the women really got in the spirit of the day. Also presented on the day, were Christmas gifts for the Domestic Violence Action Centre. We are proud to have donated gifts for 32 women and 96 children. What a fantastic day and a fantastic cause. Well done to the Women's Committee and all the ladies of our Club.
