25.01.2022 Colour Run fun! Thanks to the Beverland family for organising the fundraiser for Armidale for our current Under 11s. The whole club had loads of fun!

24.01.2022 Our Bears U11 Team would like to say a massive thank you for supporting our Armidale fundraising efforts. We had a goal to raise $1000 and smashed that with the Colour Run and 2 Raffles raising a total of $1420 We really appreciate all the support we have received from our Bears Community. 24.01.2022 This Sunday our Junior 7s girls have their one and only home match for the season at Heritage Oval. Please come down and support our girls, we have teams travelling long distances most weekends to keep this competition viable. Games kick off at 9am. Coffee van and canteen available.

Congratulations ladies, Winners in the U/13, U/15 and U/17 girls sevens comp. Fought hard and definitely Well deserved. It’s been 10 years since we last had our hands on the Risdon Cup but she is finally back. To all the boys that played A and B grade this year every single one of you had a part of winning the cup. It’s been a hard year for the bears again but we showed true Bears spirit and never gave up and kept fighting until the end. 17.01.2022 We have a superb video presentation by C2K panelist, the legendary ex Reds/Kubota/ Australia No 8 and current Tonga Head Coach Toutai Kefu. The video covers ...contact and the breakdown. This is an excellent tool for all of our kids as Toutai explains good and bad examples of carrying from both an offensive and defensive point of view. It gives us all an indication of the accuracy required at each and every contact and the detail required around body position. Big Kef has been a regular member of the C2K panel for the last four years and we, especially the kids are all thankful for his contributions. At C2K we are all about educating our kids and building their rugby IQ along with their own position specific skill development. It’s very important for each and every player to learn the detail of the game and the position they play. The C2K coaching panel consists of over 40 past professional players who are committed to ensuring QLDs history of producing quality rugby players continues on. We will have several more videos from other members of our coaching panel in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy this one!

04.01.2022 We are endevouring to get rugby going for our Juniors this term. We just need an indication whether you are keen for your child to play. Can everyone please email your coaches to let them know if you are still keen for your child to play. We will be looking at starting training after the 11th of June. We will be restricted to 20 people per venue so we will have to stagger trainings on different days. Please email your respective coaches to let them know if you want your child to play. 03.01.2022 This weekend we take on the USQ Saints at Heritage Oval. Once games commence, and for training, only players and coaches, managers and officials can be on the playing arena. No parents/spectators/siblings can be on the playing surface. Keeping structure around games/training times needs to be tight.
