25.01.2022 The 2020 Clivia Show is all set up ready for visitors tomorrow morning. Doors open at 8am. Please, remember to be Covid Safe and look after Yourself, you just don't know where other people have been. A lot of new colour varieties are on display this year, Greg has excelled in keeping up with the current colour trends in clivia flowers, very spectacular for sure. They will be great in a few years time when they become specimen plants. A lot of great work, in colour variation has been done around the world and Greg does his best to bring these genetic wonders to Toowoomba.

18.01.2022 What to do on a wet Sunday??? Get all of the clivia show photos sorted out from last year, and get the slideshow videos completed and loaded up to Youtube. Better late than never. All slideshow videos, right back to 2012 are now on Youtube.... Go back in time and have a look at some 'Old Clivia Cultivar' favourites. Time to get ready for the 2020 clivia season. I better get the cameras charged up.

10.01.2022 Some of our TCS Members have generously donated clivia plants to the Big Cow project. The Big Cow has been named 'Clivia', after her Major Sponser, Clive Berghofer. The gardens will be filled with all colours of clivia plants, to tie in with the theme. The TCS is proud to be able to take part in this exciting restoration of a piece of Queenslands Historical Attractions.

02.01.2022 The Toowoomba Bromeliad & Succulent Society have created their New Face Book page. Have a look and give them a like.

02.01.2022 Exciting news.............. We are having our Clivia Show !!!!! Due to not being able to access our usual building to display our clivia plants and sell flowering plants, seed and seedlings. We had accepted that the TCS would not be having a show for 2020..during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers week. But..... All that has changed in the last two weeks. We are now joining forces with the Toowoomba Bromeliad and Succulent Society Inc. They have generously allowed us so...me space in the venue they use to hold their annual Spring Show. Although our display will be a lot smaller and run for a shorter period of time, we are pretty excited to be going ahead with it. As with all things COVID RELATED, this could all change in a flash. None the less, we will move forward and fingers crossed, we can put on a show. Details are in the flyer, come and see us at the New Location for this year. Make sure you check the New Location address. We hope to see you there.

02.01.2022 Some inters flowering for Louis Lotter.
