22.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I write this post to advise our sports family of the recent passing of one of our long standing players, Sarah Bishop (Sullivan). Sarah was very recently diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia and passed away last Saturday. Sarah was a gorgeous person, both inside and out, and was well loved by the netball group she played with and against. Her beautiful smile and welcoming heart will be sadly missed by those of us who knew her. Sarah’s funeral service... will take place next Wednesday, January 22nd, 9:30a.m. at Burtsow's. Members of the Dragons community are welcome to attend. On behalf of the Dragons family, we extend our deepest sympathies to Sarah’s husband Clint, their 4 children and other members of Sarah’s family including her mum, dad and sister, Courtney. We also ask you please keep Sarah’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. RIP Beautiful Girl xoxo

18.01.2022 Dear Players, Supporters and Friends COVID 19 - UPDATE 22/3/2020 STATUS - CENTRE CLOSED ... Tonight Prime Minister,Scott Morrison, has announced the closing of all sporting centres and Gyms as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping our country. We are unsure how long we will be closed for, but we appreciate the need for public safety in these very uncertain times. At this stage, we will close for the remainder of March and April, reassessing things for May 2020 (subject to Government Advice) This closure includes Inflatable World, Darling Downs Darts Association fixtures and Darling Downs 8 Ball Association fixtures. Please note we will continue to update our players and supporters throughout the closure and as soon as we can open the doors again we look forward to seeing you all back in the centre We are currently configuring an online, virtual program for our players and information will be distributed on this in the coming days. We hope you will continue to support our Club and Centre in these very hard times. This is a tough time for everyone and together we will get through. Stay safe, healthy and strong. 16.01.2022 JUNIOR STATE TITLES - CRICKET Calling all Junior Cricketers aged 8 to 16! We want you! Register your team or join one of our many teams!! Toowoomba is hosting the 2020 Junior State Carnival - a weekend of junior cricket fun!... Grades played are 10s, 12s, 14s and 16s. It's a great chance to come and play a weekend of cricket fun! This event is played over the school holidays - Fri 25th, Sat 26th & Sun 27th September. The kids will play roughly 7/8 games over the weekend against teams from all over Queensland. This event is also the official development pathway for junior indoor cricket and squads are chosen for the 2021 Development Camp - where Qld teams are selected for the 2021 Junior Cricket National! Anybody to get a selfie with the below cap, WITHOUT letting the curly haired streamer find out. And paste it in the comments, I will shout you an iceblock at the canteen....
