10.01.2022 There is no questioning the profound sadness felt with the loss of a baby or child. The impact this has on a family is devastating. Today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day - a day we would gather for a service to remember the young lives no longer with us. As this is not possible this year, let us remember them in other ways: visiting their memorial, lighting a candle, taking a moment of silence, or by sharing photos or memories.

02.01.2022 This Anzac Day, we invite you to join the RSLs Driveway Dawn Service campaign to honour those who have fallen, those who have served and those who are currently serving. At 6am tomorrow morning, light a candle and observe a minutes silence on your driveway. Lest we forget

01.01.2022 Moving through 2020 has presented challenges for all. During these times it is important to remember to be thankful for the things in life that bring us joy, no matter how small - a flower blooming outside your window; a call from a friend; time spent getting lost in a favourite novel; or simply taking a walk through your garden. It is recognising these simple pleasures and being grateful for them that help us continue through. What are you grateful for? - World Gratitude Day 2020

01.01.2022 We normally hold a special service prior to Anzac Day and with the restrictions this year, we have been inspired by the RSLs Driveway Dawn Service campaign to hold our own special, and very personal, ceremony at the gardens. At dawn on Anzac Day, we will raise the Australian flag at the Soldiers Memorial Wall, play the Last Post, light a candle in honour of the fallen and observe a minutes silence. The candle will remain lit all day, and we invite members of the Toowoomba community to drive into the gardens and past the wall, where they are welcome to stop, pay tribute to the fallen and maybe lay a wreath. At dusk, the flag will be lowered and the candle extinguished.
