22.01.2022 Junior Humanities classes are learning about Human Rights and the experiences of refugees. Our own students graciously spoke about the power of kind words to people seeking safety in Australia.



22.01.2022 Congratulations to our Volleyball teams on their recent success! Our Junior Girls 2 placed 4th against Glennie , Junior Boys won bronze against Highlands and our Senior Girls won silver in a play off with our Junior Girls 1 who took home the gold ! Our Open division boys also won their grand final game against Wilsonton. Thanks to our staff and student coaches for working hard with these teams! Great work!

20.01.2022 The grand final of the Badminton Bash saw the experience and wisdom of Mr Collison, along with the raw athleticism and strong leadership from School Vice Captain James to be too much to handle for the runners up Dave and Jackson. The final score being 42 to 28. Well done to all 40 teams and hundreds of spectators who have been involved with this hugely successful lunch time event which has been full of great vibes and school spirit. ... The official presentation to the winners will be held on the next whole school assembly.



19.01.2022 Year 10 students Kerenza, Mackenzie, Sian and Sierra took part in the 2020 STEM Girl Power Virtual Summit. They joined girls from around Queensland to discuss climate change issues and negotiate for action. These students had the opportunity to link up with STEM Girl Power graduates as well as females who work in STEM professions in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

18.01.2022 Year 9 mural. The second batch of Year 9 Visual Art students for 2020 continued working on our mural project. This fabulous mural stretches all the way from B Block to C Block and around the side of the Art Gallery. This mural has been a huge team effort and will leave a vibrant legacy in our school.

08.01.2022 Tony from Tony’s Community Kitchen thanked our school community for its food donations. Together, we collected 800 items to help those in need. The EALD classes donated the most and are the winners of the pizza party, provided by the Well-being team.

04.01.2022 On Friday afternoon, TSHS became a battle ground. Two opposing forces made up of our grade 10, 11 and 12 students faced off against each other in an epic skirmish. After five rounds of tactical subterfuge, it was the red team that claimed came victory. Overall, our students had a ball at the Laser Skirmish rewards afternoon. A huge congratulations to the Grade 10 leadership team, who were brilliant in planning and organising this event.
