09.01.2022 COVID Update regarding attendances, in particular Pits: We are currently waiting for the Qld Government to update the COVID Safe Industry plans to reflect the new changes under Stage 5 restrictions for Outdoor Sports. Once the Industry plan is updated, we then have to apply to Qld Health to implement the plan and lodge a revised risk assessment. Qld Health can then take up to 2 or 3 days to approve the new assessment - depending on applications.... What does this mean for us? Unfortunately until such time as we are able to access the updated COVID Safe Industry Plan, lodge the same with Qld Health and subsequently obtain an approval, the Stage 4 restrictions remain in force - in particular, segregating participants from spectators, and increasing crowd numbers. Meaning at this stage the pits are still only open to actively involved participants. We understand the frustration this causes, especially since the Football can have 100% capacity. We will keep you posted with any updates we receive. In the interim - don't forget to pre-purchase your General Admission tickets online: https://tickets.speedwaytickets.com.au/events/23503# Adults just $30*, Students & Pensioners $25*, 13-15yrs $15*, Children 5-12yrs $10* There will be limited tickets available at the gate for those that can't access online ticketing (cash only). Pit tickets are only available at the pit gate on the day. (*plus ticketing fee)

09.01.2022 If you can't get on to our website, you can purchase tickets direct from our ticketing link: https://tickets.speedwaytickets.com.au/event/htos210102 Gates open from 1pm. Early racing from approximately 4.45pm, with the main program from 6pm. We will have limited General Admission tickets available at the gate for those that can't purchase online, please note it is cash only and it may take longer than normal to get in due to contact Tracing requirements. Pit Admission only available at the gate today (cash only) and is still limited to actively involved participants only (Qld Health Directive). GET YOUR BACKSIDE TRACKSIDE for the Greatest Show on Dirt! And an awesome Fireworks show too - brought to you by Supa Catering - for all your catering needs!

08.01.2022 The COVID Safe Industry Plan for Outdoor Sports has been updated this-morning to reflect the new easement of restrictions - however unfortunately the requirement for segmentation of participants has not been lifted in this latest release. The current Plan states: Strict physical distancing measures and hygiene practices will remain central to COVID Safe Site-Specific Plans, in... line with Public Health Directions. Group segmentation and buffering measures will be used to reduce co-mingling. For event details: www.toowoombaspeedway.com.au/eventinfo.asp Don't forget to get your General Admission tickets online from our website. If you can't make it out, you can still catch all the action on Clay Per View. Our Merchandise Shop will be open this Saturday, if your looking for ideas for Christmas presents! 08.01.2022 JOINT MEDIA RELEASE: Whilst uncertainties around interstate travel left series organizers with no option but to cancel the 2020/2021 World Series Sprintcar Championship, the recent easing of restrictions with more expected in the days ahead has enabled Speedway Australia to join forces with track operators in Queensland and New South Wales to present the Sprintcar State's Series - QLD/NSW: Super Sevens to be staged across four venues over 14 days. The tournament will kick of...f at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway on Saturday, January 2, with Archerfield Speedway to host round two just 24 hours later on January 3. Teams will head north to Maryborough Speedway for round three for a Tuesday night show on January 5 and then return to Archerfield for a two-night fixture on January 8 and 9. A trip across the border to Lismore Speedway in northern New South Wales for round five on Tuesday, January 12 will be followed by the series finale back in Toowoomba on January 16. The series has been developed as a substitute for the traditional World Series events that would ordinarily be scheduled for the region at this time of the season and there will be two similar tournaments staged in Western Australia and South Australia/Victoria, the details of which will be announced soon. With the exception of round four at Archerfield which will carry a $10 000 first prize, all rounds will pay $5000 to the winner of the feature race, with Speedway Australia General Manager confirming a $20 000 series points fund. In the absence of World Series Sprintcars this summer, we urge everyone to make the best of the situation by getting involved in these regional initiatives over the holiday period. We’re delighted to be able to support teams and tracks by sponsoring a points fund for these Sprintcar events. Whilst World of Outlaws star Donny Schatz will be unable to take part in the series due to ongoing restrictions on international travel, it is expected that the lack of racing so far this season in southern states will ensure an influx of competitors desperate to get their season underway. More information about the series and individual events will be released soon. 2021 Sprintcar State's Series - QLD/NSW: Super Sevens Schedule January 2 Toowoomba January 3 Archerfield January 5 Maryborough January 8/9 Archerfield January 12 Lismore* January 16 - Toowoomba * Lismore is subject to NSW Health easing crowd restrictions.
