18.01.2022 The Big Cow was built in the 1970s to attract tourists to a working dairy farm at 9-11 Ayrshire Rd. It is one of the many Australian Big Things. On the 10th of January 2020, the Big Cow was moooved to Highfields Pioneer Village. Due to it's massive size the cow had to be cut into two pieces. Highfields Pioneer Village has launched a fundraising drive to enable Volunteers to put the cow back together on new concrete footings, restoration and an interpretation centre for visit...ors.
