21.01.2022 ATTENTION MEMBERS We have just watched our Prime Ministers announcement with the rest of the country.. We had no notice to prepare.. ... We do not have any other information but rest assured we will be following the advice from Fitness Australia and will be seeking legal advice first thing tomorrow to determine where we stand. Please be mindful we have over 2500 members all wanting answers to questions that we simply do not have at this stage, but please know you will all be updated and informed when we ourselves can get a better understanding. For now, the gym remains open to our members until 12pm midday tomorrow as per the instructions just announced.

18.01.2022 [IMPORTANT] Training Change - Darling Downs Centre - Junior Male Group: Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding coach availability, the Jun...ior Male group trial time for this Monday 3rd August has been moved from the scheduled 4pm start time to the NEW time of 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Harristown SHS. An email has been sent to all registered junior male athletes and parents/guardians at the Darling Downs centre to alert them of this change. If you are a junior male or female athlete in the Darling Downs region and are keen to join our program on Monday evenings, please register to trial at http://tinyurl.com/qaset2020 Trials are scheduled for the 3rd, 10th and 17th August, but athletes can still register after these dates and trial for the program. 13.01.2022 With regret, we have decided to cancel our Premier League season for the next 2 weeks, when we will reassess what is happening near the end of the 3 week break. Nearly all of the schools are now unavailable which affects all levels of our competition, so given the rapidly changing environment we have made the difficult decision to postpone for the time being. At this time, Business League is still going ahead on Wednesday nights, as is Titans training on Thursday night.... Please let us know if you have any questions.

13.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT ABOUT TVA ***All volleyball activities suspended until further notice****** Dear TVA Members... Based on the current situation with COVID19 the Committee has voted to suspend all Toowoomba Volleyball activities until further notice as a precaution to ensure the health and safety of our members and their families. This includes all Competitions (Wednesday and Tuesday Nights) and Trainings (Titans) . This is not a decision that the committee has taken lightly however we are confident that once the situation has passed that our community will join us to play the sport of Volleyball. In the meantime we ask all our members to practice social distancing and respect the needs of all member of the community in this uncertain time. 02.01.2022 Hi everyone, No doubt you have been watching the news coverage concerning COVID-19 (the ‘Corona Virus’), and may have some questions on how this will affect our volleyball competitions. At this stage, Premier League, Business League and Titans training will continue as scheduled, with a few important changes: 1. If you have had any contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, or if you have recently returned from overseas, please don’t attend trials/ training/ games for 2 w...eeks and let your coach/ captain know. 2. If you are sick for any reason, please don’t attend training/ games and let your coach/ captain know. 3. While at volleyball, please try to limit physical contact with other players. This includes handshakes and slaps, hi fives, etc. Teams are encouraged to get creative and come up with their own non-contact celebrations. 4. Please wash your hands properly before and after volleyball, and avoid touching your face, etc. If you are able, please bring hand sanitiser for your own use. Critically, it is important to follow any advice from your doctor and official government sources, which continue to be updated as the situation progresses.
