17.01.2022 A man is hospitalised due to a mine using illegal refrigerant. Which is believed to be hichill ,that can be purchased without a licence .. Click on the link to the government website and have a read . Please feel free to share this post , its not about trying to drum up work for myself because i am licenced and use the industry standard R134a . Its been a strange year and I've had to knock back work lately as there is not enough hours in a day . But hopefully to save anything... bad happening to your friends or family . There seems to be people in every town buying this gas and going around doing quick gas and go refills . Like a flat tyre if you put air in the tyre without fixing the punture it will go flat again. If you get ac work done on your car ,truck or machinery ask what gas they use and ask to see there licence if you like . Yes large leaks inside the cab are rare , but they do happen. In the past 12 months i have seen a holden cruze and a isuzu dmax have a sudden failure of the evaporator dumping its gas in the cabin with there occupants . In both cases this could have been very bad if the refrigerant was flammable . Is cost worth more than your safety ? Anyway have a read and pass onto your friends to be aware what some people could be using on your familys vehicle . https://www.rshq.qld.gov.au//explosion-in-truck-cabin-from
