18.01.2022 Today we were lucky enough to have Chris Bath from the ABC Radio call out to the farm on her 4 towns in 4 days tour. Like me Chris is a keen bird watcher and also loves the country. She loved the thousands of trees we have planted and our substantial approach to farming along with some very cute dorper lambs. Her 40 minutes quick stop lasted 2 1/2 hours. It was a great morning. Should be on ABC Radio tonight from 7 to 10 pm.... See more

17.01.2022 As social media and the uneducated lunatic left seem to think that our PM is actually lighting the fires. NSW is 11% NP which when mangered pre 1995 had fire trails open and HAZARD REDUCTION burns in the cooler months As named hazard reduction burns reduce the fuel load and hazard, as the first aussies did for thousands of yrs. Remember Bob Carr, 1995 to 2005 locked tge gate on NP and stopped hazzard reduction burns. So if you want to place blame look at him. Lets stop blami...ng the PM and look at the big picture. Australia produces 1.3% of the world emissions. I get so sick of the communist left wing idiots, and unfortunately these clowns vote. I may not vote for the PM but i bloody well know he is not responsible for lighting the fires. See more

17.01.2022 Do you want to produce lamb chops like this ???? Lot 44 & Lot 45 Two very nice young rams. Here to sell. No reserve. National Dorper Sale. This is what our rams produce. Top quality carcasses. Gold medal 1st place winners in Sydney RAS Fine food show .

16.01.2022 With fires burning state wide and mainly in National Parks or State Forests i have watched and read comments from all sectors one blaming the other with the oddest ones even blaming our PM as if he lite the match. 11 % of NSW is NP. I consider myself a environmentalist and conservationist having grown and planted thousands of trees, been heavily involved in conservation farming practices and lived in leafy parts of Sydney and the country. There is no one single answer but in ...Australia nowdays we are so heavily regulated at all levels that its hard or impossible to do anything. Hazard reduction burning is almost outlawed, firetrails are almost gone and management is appalling. If i managed my farms or business like that it would also be a bloody disaster. Why are houses built with bush that we love up to the fences, when a 50 metre buffer, cleared zone would be much safer, better for the wildlife, wallabies, bandicoots and other small mammals, and birds with also benefit. It would greatly increase fire safety and human life. Really a no brainer. In the 1960s we used to back burn, manage and the fuel load on our boundary joining crown land in northern Sydney and never lost a house, illegal today as " government will look after us" AS IF ! Sensible solutions Buffer Zones Reduction burns Service firetrails, thats what they are. Most fire trails are now unusable and overgrown. if it is actually climate change lets start to change things to help. Unfortunately i think that some of our Green politicians are extremely dangerous to Austrialias health and future ,,,,, and i am a conversationist !!!! I think its time to stop the blame, stop political game playing and act like adults, we have some very good people but the extreme left is restrictively dangerous. Everone talks a lot but nothing happens. ITS TIME TO ACT. SPEECH OUT TO STATE GOVERNMENTS NOW. Write letters, make noise. Remember National Parks are owned by the nation. thats you. Its our property. Most parks i visit ( i walk a lot) are infested with weeds, overgrown, full of feral animals and have limited access with locked gates. ( started in 1995) I dont care who u vote for but things have to change now!!!

02.01.2022 WHOLESALING LAMBS. Dorpers make the perfect trade lamb. Meeting the demands of retails takes experience. These lambs where rejected . This is where you need experience. These lambs where 23kg and just not enough blood in the bone for the retail butcher. Top retailers have requirements that are required. These lambs are nice but just lack the softness in the bone. ie blood. Thankfully 44 yrs in the retail/wholesale meat industry is needed to successfully handle these situations.

02.01.2022 Ewes due to lamb in May. All typed as T5. All joined to T5 Kaya rams including Kaya 612. The sire of the Champion White Dorper Ram at Bendigo. Not for sale. But i expect sone top lambs. Kaya 612 progeny is fantastic. Used Australia and world wide.

01.01.2022 At good day at Nyngan Ag Expo again. Catching up with friends and customers. Had a good day. Hope it rains soon!!!
