25.01.2022 #flashbackfriday Old Woronora River Bridge 1914 The old timber bridge was opened for action in 1912 to improve access across the river (which, prior to 1912 w...as by hand-winched ferry at Lugarno). Who remembers being stuck in traffic while traversing the hairpins leading to and out of the old Woronora Bridge? The new bridge was built in 2001 to redirect traffic away from the dangerous twists and turns, and old wooden bridge and allow for a smoother flow of movement across the Woronora River. 11.01.2022 *Swimming Pools reminder* A quick reminder that from and including 29 April, 2016 it will be a requirement under the Conveyancing (Sale of Land) Regulation that where there is a swimming pool or spa on the property (or in the case of a strata building, within the common property), a Certificate of Compliance for that swimming pool or spa must be attached to the Contract for Sale as a disclosure document. Failure to do so will incur the same consequences as any other disclosure document under that Regulation. We suggest that application is made at your earliest to local Council or a Private Certificate for a Certificate of Compliance on any Swimming Pool / Spa that does not currently hold one.
