24.01.2022 With the excitement of Dale's proposal to Louise last weekend just before Saturday dinner (and her very emotional acceptance), there's good vibes in the air!

19.01.2022 There's a nip in the air these mornings - Autumn is finally here - love it! Hopefully it will stay fine for the Wood Expo which is on this coming weekend, 3-4 May. It's a great event, with lots of interesting things for all ages, combined with the Quilt Show. Maleny is renowned for lots of creative and talented people, and this weekend will showcase that. Even if people don't stay overnight, it makes for a great day out.

15.01.2022 I'm still trying to 'do' a bit of social media when I get time - back to school for Term 3 last week, so the hectic pace begins again. I have joined Top of the Hill to Trip Advisor, so am hoping that some of the lovely people who have been guests at TOTH may like to add a comment on TA to help with our ratings. 04.01.2022 I'm not very good at using Facebook - don't seem to get time to keep checking it after I get home from school each day. I feel very remiss at not responding to everyone who has added such lovely comments to the page - I will try to be more interactive! It still amazes me how the younger generation (that should be plural!) incorporate so much communication into every single day. Like when I hear the kids at school catching up with friends and discussing what someone put on Facebook the night before - or watch their thumbs flying as they belt out a message on their phone - or when I say "write down your homework" and one of the boys pulls out his phone and photographs it! With two little grand-daughters, I know I'm going to have to come to terms with the technology, but I need more time!
