23.01.2022 Rows get the bro-hoes @majasaric__ continuing to impress and push further and further out of her comfort zone. Our main focus is full ROM and control..which she nailed

23.01.2022 Everyone talks about training, recovery, diet and water intake, but the lesser spoken about aspect of fitness is mindset. If you arent mentally prepared and ready to make a change (in any aspect of life), then no matter how well you do everything else, it wont work. I have taken on clients who I couldnt help to get in the right mindset and as a result they quit. Ive had clients who have been in the right mindset since day 1 and theyre making massive improvements. The mos...t common client I have are those that arent totally committed at the start but once we work together for a while and indirectly focus on their mindset, they make a shift and fantastic transformations are the result. Dont put too much pressure on yourself to have everything all aligned before you start. Sometimes you just need to start and everything falls into place. Never hurts to have someone who focuses on this specifically to help you make this change either See more

20.01.2022 @nickmitzithras looking the goods in his new #toptiertraining Tee guaranteed to increase strength by 20%

19.01.2022 My client Rob, rising the the occasion doing some body weight dips +12kg. We are currently working around some injuries by finding pain free ranges of movement that still allow progressive overload week to week. Strength, stability and coordination is improving and were just getting back into the proper swing of things

19.01.2022 So this was meant to be paused bench press but clearly I shat it on the third rep and lost focus. For years I avoided certain lifts for fear of looking stupid and weak. Recently Ive grown a pair, thrown my ego out the door and decided to incorporate all compound lifts into my program. Im benching 110kg comfortably for reps unassisted and I couldnt be happier. It isnt perfect, but its progress. Heres to a strong finish to 2018 and a whole lot more progress to come in 2019

19.01.2022 Spent the weekend in Melbourne exploring new gyms and visiting some of my old favourites, as well as spending some time with family and friends. Rested and recharged, ready to get back to work tomorrow and turn some clients New Years resolutions into real life results! Im still taking on new clients, so if youd like to make a real change and set yourself up for success in 2019, DM/email me to organise your FREE consult today!

18.01.2022 Shoutout to this lady who took her previous 1RM for a ride...twice!! Weve been focusing on reintroducing compound lifts into her training and shes taken to it like a duck to water. Were only at the beginning but I cant wait to see how far we can take this. Sometimes the biggest barriers we face arent our physical limits, but our mental limits. Youll be amazed at what your body can do when your mind believes you can

16.01.2022 Know the feeling? Sick of saying no to fun things because youre insecure? Sick of dreading summer because youre never happy with your body? The time is now! Summer bodies are made in winter, small changes to your diet and daily activity now, can lead you to having the hot summer bod youve always wanted. Stop saying I will do it start saying I am doing it

16.01.2022 You attract what you are, not what you want to be

16.01.2022 Food for thought as the Christmas festivities begin. Remember to enjoy yourself, but be cautious of how far you push it

15.01.2022 The #1 thing I get across to my clients. You can pay me for personal training every single day, we can train together and I can give you all the advice in the world. What I cant do is follow you home, cook all your meals, feed you, put you to bed, force you to sleep, etc. what ultimately determines YOUR success is what YOU do outside of the gym. I cant/wont force you to do anything, Ill simply advise you on what youll need to do to achieve your results. It becomes clear who really values their goals, and whos half assing it. I sell the end result, I dont sell week to week training, this is a huge part of achieving that end result. Ball is in your court, how bad do you want it?

15.01.2022 Too busy is a myth. The truth is, people will make time for whats important to them. If youre too busy then you need to accept that you dont want it as bad as you think you do

13.01.2022 Finishing legs off with weighted walking lunges. Im not opposed to doing these at the start of a session however I find them more beneficial at the end. After exhausting your legs these will challenge your balance a lot more, provide an even amount of load on each side for symmetry, stretch out your hip flexors to improve flexibility, improve glute activation (provided posture/form is correct), and increase core stability. If youve worked hard during other exercises then these wont be easy and weight should be kept moderate. Chuck them in at the end of your leg session and feeeeel the burnnnn

13.01.2022 Happy new year to everyone! Id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone whos helped make this year something special. Big bold moves were made and its all paid off. Thank you to all my AMAZING clients who have been so supportive and have followed all advice to help them achieve their goals. Big things are going to happen in 2019 and I cant wait to be apart of this journey with all of you! Thank you for an amazing end to 2018, lets take this momentum and positivity into 2019 and take it to the next level!

13.01.2022 Short term bursts of intense effort do not (often) lead to success. Long term and consistent effort does. Your habits didnt form over night, so dont think you can change them over night, be relentless, be persistent, and be patient.

11.01.2022 When lifting remember that control is key. Controlling both the concentric and eccentric (up and down) part of the movement ensures a) safety and b) maximum muscle damage (which results in maximum muscle growth) Also if you feel your biceps fatigue more than your back does when youre rowing, youre probably pulling the weight to you, and not pulling the weight past you. Your hands are hooks, Loosen your grip and think about pulling your elbows past your b...ody. This should put more of an emphasis on your back and help take your biceps out of it as much as possible. But Kain, biceps are used in a row Yes, theyre secondary muscles in the lift, so yes they will fatigue, but they shouldnt fatigue before your back does..if done correctly. Itll take time to get the movement down and feel it in the right places, but if you know what to feel for then youll have a greater chance of success. If you cant quite get any movements down, slide into my DMs or come see me at @goodlifewestlakes And Ill be more than happy to help you out See more

09.01.2022 Post Christmas/new year mood

09.01.2022 Making the most of this weather I can count the amount of times Ive snatched on my hands alone. I am not proficient at the movement, so I dont load up the bar. Plenty of things to work on before I think about bumping up the weight. A few more people should adapt this mentality. Ego gets the best of us all, but a movement performed well is a lot more impressive than a ton of weight moved poorly (in my opinion)

06.01.2022 To a lot people on here this might not look like much, but to me this is a massive step forward and a proud moment for me as a trainer. This is a guy that had such poor posture and control when we first started together, that he couldnt even do a quarter squat without ending up on his toes or falling over. Were down to the fine tuning aspect of his squatting. Its improved so much (left photo), so I used some small plates to elevate his heels (right photo) and this is the difference. After some mobility work for his ankles he will be squatting without heel elevation in no time. For now, I think he deserves some recognition. He never says no, he never says I cant, he listens and implements my advice and instructions, and is reaping the rewards. Progressing every week and I couldnt be more happy for you mate, well done

05.01.2022 #girlswholift @ashy.sands

05.01.2022 I am a big advocate for doing what makes you happy. Its how I am able to be so empathetic to my clients that dont want to lose all the food they love, or spend 6 days a week in the gym. Honestly, it comes down to ambition. If you really want it, then youll sacrifice what you need to. Whether it be certain foods, time in front of the tv, even sleeping, sometimes we need to sacrifice a bit to get what we really want. If your ambition isnt driving you enough to give them up, then maybe you need to accept that you dont want it as bad as you think you do. Just understand that THAT is why you arent going to get what you want, and only YOU can change that.

04.01.2022 Client spotlight This is my client Emma, shes over head pressing the same amount of weight that shes lost since starting with me. Shes now stronger, fitter and a whole lot healthier. When we first started we took it very slow to ensure we had good movement patterns and gradually built up her strength and stability. Now were loading movements and putting that strength to good use. Sometimes holding that extra weight again can put into perspective just how far youve come. Couldnt be happier for her or prouder of her. 20kg down so far, but we arent done yet

04.01.2022 Be your own damn motivation! Funnily enough, in the photo on the right I had already been training for 3 years. Id been consistent and dedicated for an extended period of time and had made MASSIVE (9kg weight increase) improvements from where I had started. I took this photo with confidence and pride, I loved how I looked because it was so much better than what Id looked like previously. Now I can look back on that with the same pride and confidence... after having made even more improvements and smashed plenty more goals. I had wanted to be a personal trainer for a very long time, but I didnt think I was ready. Physically and mentally. I couldve jumped in early, I may have succeeded, and I may be a lot further in my career than I am now. I didnt, I waited patiently, refining my skills and proving that I could make HUGE changes to my life, to then transfer that on to my clients. Best decision Ive ever made. So here it is, the result of a consistency and hard work, me proving that I dont just talk the talk, I have and continue to walk the walk. Cant wait to put this latest photo up against another photo in a years time and see what improvements Ive made See more

03.01.2022 This year I got a bit distracted. Changing careers caused me to lose my momentum and routine in regards to my training. I then decided to put my training aside to focus on my clients and my business. I explored different training styles (some that were counterproductive to my personal goals) and researched in depth to ensure I could give my clients everything they need to achieve their goals. As the year is coming to an end I have re-found my focus, reset my goals, and finally got myself back into a routine. 2019 is going to be a big one. Personal goals and business goals have been set and I cant wait to start smashing them . Finish this year strong and set yourself up for success in the new year Also my apology for the facials, it was a heavy and sweaty chest session today

01.01.2022 From not being able to support herself on one leg, to doing 4 sets of 10 Bulgarian split squats. I honestly couldnt be more proud of this girl. A true testament to what trusting the process and being patient can do. It may not always be fun, in fact it can be quite dry and boring at times, but youve got to do what needs to be done in order to progress steadily and safely. Thank you for trusting me, and thank you for always putting in 100% with very little complaining. One of many of my clients busting their butts and going the extra mile to achieve their goals, 2019 is going to be huge and I cant wait to be apart of this journey with you all
