25.01.2022 Weve been asked what a nanoPoP is. Well, its a network cul-de-sac, we dont expect to hop to another network node from a nanoPoP. Its also really compact, e...xtremely low visual impact and good to connect neighbours within a 1-3km radius. The really great thing about a nanoPoP is, if you host one, you get a discount on your Periphery internet plan and priority support if there is a reported outage. The second antenna (the tall flat one) covers 120 degrees and consumes around 7w (less than $2 per month but we take a much bigger discount off your bill). That is a 1.25L flask (seemed better to provide a comparison than take a photo on the roof) We think its pretty cool, and it doesnt cost taxpayers $750K.
