16.01.2022 Yesterday would have been my dads 68th birthday. Saying he loved chocolate is a definite understatement. So it seemed fitting that the kids and I made him a chocolate on chocolate on chocolate cake.

15.01.2022 Kids in the kitchen! My kids whipped up some of these easy-peasy cookies that they love in their lunch boxes. This is one batch minus four more trays in the oven (it makes a lot) this time we did confetti and triple chocolate. But you can add anything you love in a cookie. Just grab them out of the freezer as needed. Plus each cookie has only 0.6g of sugar and no preservatives!

14.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap guys!! After 8 1/2 years I say farewell to taking orders and my baking will just be for my nearest and dearest. Stay tuned to see what I get up to! I want to take the opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who have supported me, order a cake (or many) given me a or a comment, they’ve all meant the world to me. Thank you again and here’s to lots of sweetness for 2021.

14.01.2022 A big happy 9th birthday to my amazing daughter Holly. Although I was pushed aside in the cake making department this year. She wanted to make her own. So off she went, drew a picture of her design, wrote a plan and here is the final masterpiece. I couldn’t be prouder, I only helped her with one thing the rest was all her. She was also busy making cupcakes for her classmates during the week. #proudmumma

05.01.2022 So something exciting happened on the weekend..... My baby brother got hitched I was tasked with the cake duty of course. With them giving me a colour scheme and flavour choices they pretty much left the rest up to me. Sheesh no pressure at all. I’m pleased to say they were blown away when they saw it and are enjoying the leftovers. ... Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jamieson So here is The Beast as I’m calling her.

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I have been going back and fourth on this decision for a long time. I have decided to hang up my apron for now, I feel like it’s time for new projects and new chapters for me to work on. I will be honouring all orders that I have booked in from now until December.... I wanted to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to each and everyone of you who has ordered a cake or many from me over the past 8 years, or referred me to someone needing a cake. It’s truely truely appreciated. I feel so honoured to have been a small part of all of your events over the years, birthdays, engagements, weddings, christenings, baby showers and so on. It truely warms my heart, saying thank you will never be enough or show how much it has meant to me. I will keep my page open so I can post cakes, tips and sweet treats I make for my family. Who knows one day I may come back to taking orders but for now it’s the right time for me to take a break. Amanda
