All to often we see people use chemicals expecting an instant result.... You need to give the chemicals time to work. An examples. Oven cleaner. Spray it on then leave it for a good 30 minutes. Degreaser. Don't just spray it on and instantly wipe it off. Give it 20-30 seconds to do its thing and break down the grease. A simple tip but ultimately a time saver and an effort saver. Everyone is talking about and using Microfibre cloths. Should you use them?... Yes. Why should you use them? Because if used correctly they can save you time and do a more efficient cleaning job. How should they be used? Microfibres are a cloth with thousands of 'hooks' for want of a better word. So the grab the dust and hold it. If you fold the cloth into a quarters (fold in half and then half again) you can get 8 separate sides used. How should I clean them? Hot water, with a normal amount of laundry detergent and maybe some liquid sanitiser. Long wash with 3 rinses. Extra tip: Don't by the cheap ones available in large hardware stores.
