We purchased a number of new cow families to broaden the genetic base of our herd and we look forward to the impact these genetics will have on our business well into the future. 11.01.2022 Weaning day today for this lot. Mostly F2 heifers who will become recipients. Also our pure heifer R1 born in January this year.

10.01.2022 Preparing our donors in the best way possible for our latest flush program resulted in the production of 40 exciting embryos to breed leading sires. With a good feed wedge of rye and clover across the farm, we are well placed to keep the all important recipient group on quality feed for many weeks and months to come, giving us the best chance to maximise the number of successful pregnancies. Donors included LST J89 Pho-Finish, LST J196 Amy, LST P93 Ember and WYN R08 Jannette. Special thanks to Udo Mahne for his outstanding work!

10.01.2022 Our 5 Waratah females have quickly become 6 with the birth of this lovely heifer, out of Waratah Spanish Angel N98, sired by Riverina Sonar J301.

04.01.2022 Another wet weekend in South Gippsland, looks like it will be a few more weeks yet before we can get some silage off. F2 heifers going well 3 weeks post weaning on grass only.
