22.01.2022 Toddler fun in the sun! Our Desert area comes complete with Palm trees sand and a water oasis for the children to explore! Water Play provides hours of fun and learning rich moments. It enhances children's creativity and imagination and is beneficial to early education as it helps children develop eye-hand coordination and the basis of simple math and science concepts. It also enhances social skills and encourages cooperation.

16.01.2022 GETTING READY FOR BIG SCHOOL!! We’re conscious of how disruptive Covid-19 has made this year for all children.This is particularly important for the Kindergarten children who will be commencing school next year. To help with the transition to Big School for Term 4 we are introducing LUNCH BOXES! Our Kinder children will each be given a lunch box and once a week on a rotation they will take part in a cooking experience to create their own healthy Lunch or snack to go inside their lunch boxes!! We understand that returning to care comes with some anxieties, the children have returned in full swing and shown us how resilient they really are! We saw a few initial tears at drop off in the morning but we are now surrounded by the happy little smiles we knew were there all along!! 07.01.2022 Healthy Habits! Part of our program in Kinder for Term 4 is our Healthy choices lunch box program. The children have been helping to cook their own lunches and snacks that are healthy and appropriate for school lunches! This week we made Chicken and Zucchini meatballs, as well as a Cheese and Vegetable option for the vegetarians! AND not one complaint about the Zucchini inside!!! 06.01.2022 Early Achievers! Our Nursery Children have been taking part in a lot of outdoor play! We have been exploring the different outdoor zones we have available at top kids! The desert area with the sand and water play, and the larger outdoor area are both fantastic areas that hold so much opportunity for learning through exploration! Giving the children different opportunities to practice and develop a range of skills helps them with their self-confidence and ability to try and fail and try again and again! Our Kinder Team have been focusing this term on the wellbeing and working on ways in which we can ease them back into their environment, one thing they focused on was the setup of the room, ensuring it is welcoming and is set up to best suit the practical learning needs of the children. 03.01.2022 Friday Fun-Day!! Every so often we dedicate an entire day to the children’s favourite learning experiences! Messy Play, Art and craft, Obstacle courses, Dress up’s, water play and even a Day-time Disco!! The educators plan carefully for each and every learning experience held on the day, to ensure that not only is it fun, but it reflects the Learning themes within the current program!
