06.01.2022 Monday 23rd Update We are open! Dear customers We at Top Meats Castlemaine take the health of our staff and customers very seriously and we want all our customers to feel safe while shopping with us. We have been continually reviewing the advice from the Federal Government with regards to COVID-19 and can confirm that butchers are not part of the non-essential services and will therefore remain open to serve the public. However, in light of the crisis we are all facing, we ...feel that we need to make some adjustments in store to do our part in ensuring the health and safety of our local community: 1. Due to social distancing restrictions enforced by the Federal Government, we have put in place protocol that limits the number of customers that can be in our store at any one time. We will implement a number system (when necessary) to help the flow of customers in and out of the store so our customers won’t need to stand in a line while waiting to enter. Please be assured that we have plenty of meat available for all our customers and this protocol should not extend your wait time (as we can only serve customers as fast as we can). This protocol is to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our staff and will bring some calm and order to your shopping experience. 2. Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance to the store. We ask that all customers please sanitise their hands before entering. 3. We ask our customers to pay with tap-and-go where you can (however we have protocol in place to deal with money and pin numbers on eftpos machines). 4. We have implemented a stringent cleaning process to ensure surfaces in the store are disinfected continually throughout the day. 5. Finally, we ask our customers to please not come into the store if you are experiencing cold/flu like symptoms. If you find yourself stuck and unable to leave home, please give us a call and we will see how we can assist you. We believe that we must work together to ensure the health of those who are vulnerable in our community. Once again, thank you all for your patience and understanding in this time.
