11.01.2022 Update 30th March 1.30pm The team at TRT together with NFTI (Our Registered Training Organisation #40704) are currently reviewing our risk assessment and new government restrictions that were introduced recently. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and we thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we plan our way forward in relation to training. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce Industry Queensland (CCIQ) last week NFTI (Our RTO) asked the...m to advocate on our behalf to the government to get further direction for our clients who need their first aid, CPR or low voltage rescue qualifications should we need to close and cease training for a certain time period. We have also been in touch with regulators in the Electrical Safety Office and Early Childhood and Education care sector and are awaiting responses in relation to qualifications expiring and what to do if you work in these industries. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time to ensure the health and safety of our team members and clients. We will be providing a further update via email shortly.

11.01.2022 COVID-19 Update 2nd April 2020 FIRST AID TRAINING Our Registered Training Organisation National First Aid Training Institute have been in touch with the Chamber of Commerce Industry Queensland (CCIQ) and asked them to advocate for some temporary extensions or waivers for those of our clients who require their training for work licensing or shifts. We will continue this advocacy with CCIQ to ensure the best outcomes for our clients during our shut down. ... NFTI together with Top of the Range Training will regularly monitor the updates and review our risk analysis for training. NFTI has spoken with both Skills IQ and ASQA and they are set in stone that the integrity of the first aid units will not be changed, even temporarily. Unfortunately, these units are difficult to move to an online platform due to practical assessment requirements and the need for the required assessment resources.

So lucky that they saw it. He was pretty comfortable up there curled up and minding his own business. He nearly got tangled in the toaster chord but I was able to bag him up safely. 07.01.2022 INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES - IN LIGHT OF CORONAVIRUS The Health & Safety of our Team & those attending our courses has always been our priority. However we have stepped up our infection control procedures between and during classes to assist in maintaining high level of protection. When delivering training offsite, We encourage a well ventilated room with good flow through air.... INFECTION CONTROL BEFORE classes: 1.We encourage ALL PARTICIPANTS apply hand sanitiser prior to the commencement of the class. 2.We spray our pens & Clipboards that participants use for registration with Glen 20 prior to use, and after use. INFECTION CONTROL DURING CLASSES 1. Hand sanitiser is encouraged before CPR is performed on Manikins. 2. There is the option of wearing disposable gloves to perform compressions which are then disposed of 3. Each Manikin is wiped down using disinfectant wipes after each use. 4. Mouth to Mouth resuscitation -If mouth to mouth is performed, each face mask is used only once and is disinfected using industrial grade disinfectant especially designed for face masks. Also each manikin is fitted with a one way valve that prevents any bacteria or viruses coming back up the airway. 5. Bandages there is enough bandages for single use and they are washed in disinfectant after each use before the next class. Once again hand sanitiser is encouraged as is the washing of hands with warm water and soap for a min of 20 seconds. 6. Glen 20 will be on hand to disinfect any surface that may need to be cleaned for whatever reason Ultimately though, good hygiene practices must fall on the individual as all we can do is to encourage them to undertake these practices mentioned. All infection control procedures that our trainers can implement WILL BE implemented without hesitation or exemption.
